Pipe Burst in the bathroom

The condo was nice until the pipe started leaking and flooded the kitchen/bathrooms. Reel Joy Management was just awful to deal with. We had to move complexes in the middle of the storm to a filthy condo and they charged us the full price still. The condo was 25 miles away from where we booked and completely outdated. We would never book with any condo managed by Reel Joy again.

Accurate description just a short walk to the beach. Very nice and roomy. Close to good restaurants. Very clean property. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Summer Beach Trip

Our trip was very pleasant. We especially enjoyed the laid back feel of the area. We are older and don’t want the craziness of Panama City like beaches.

Perfect Beach View

Nice updated condo. We enjoyed our stay at The islander. Beds were comfortable. Found a few trash items from prior guest which leads me to believe it could have been cleaned a little better and shower in on suite bath didn’t drain well. But overall very nice condo.

Great stay!

This was a wonderful stay with priceless views of the beach. Pure heaven. My only dislike was the extra slow drain in the master shower. I ended up using the shower down the hall because it was so slow. Other than that this condo was a 10/10. Would love to come back again.

Loved the location and amenities of the condo. Kitchen was perfectly stocked, unit was cleaned, and the views gorgeous. Location was great with restaurants and attractions within walking/driving distance but not right outside the door so we had quiet in the evenings. Very family friendly, and we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent property with excellent views. Only request I would make is, the 2 front bedrooms need curtains on them as the outside door light shines right through the blinds at night. Other than that very pleased

Lovely view

We were super excited for our stay! Upon arrival the pictures don’t do the view justice. The view really is spectacular! This unit was off to the right of the building and far enough away from the pool below there was nothing but beautiful gulf sounds that we heard. The elevators were down when we arrived. Which meant we had to walk up to the 6th floor with our family of 6 supplies for the week. The pool was super chilly. Although, the weather was pretty cool most days, 1 day we had and 80° day. Would’ve been nice to have a warmer pool to jump in like neighboring establishments. LOTS of construction going on. Which seems to bother lots of guests. We specifically asked about this and were told no construction would be happening during our stay. Definitely not true. Even though the construction wasn’t in front of our building...the equipment was banging to badly off one of the balconies, from the ropes, it sounded like someone was just banging on pipes for 4+ hours . The unit definitely has some mold on the ceilings in many of the rooms. The balcony furniture isn’t the most comfortable. The water temperature in the unit also never was above warm. With temperatures being cooler...a warm/hot shower would’ve been nice. The drain in the master bathroom was backed up. Luckily, my husband was able to unclog it to get the water to not pool in the tub during our warm-ish showers. WiFi was weak. Lastly, the fitness room wasn’t accessible for most of our stay due to construction. We did enjoy our stay and made the most of it, probably b/c this is the first place we’ve been in over a year. The view made us look the other way on many accounts. The property management was quick to respond. Paying a premium and having so many issues was pretty disappointing and we would have liked for there to be a bit more transparency on some of the issues. Great location and view. Close to store abs lots of activities. Beach toys and some equipment are provided, no chairs or umbrella rental is included. Would not rent this property again due to the issues we experienced. Unit is decorated nicely and family friendly. Definitely other options to consider for a similar cost and more working and comfortable amenities.

Nice Property and Convenient

Great views and updated property. Property management company was easy to contact and ask questions. The elevator was out most of one day and was out the next morning when we went to check out on Saturday. They were helpful in letting me know someone would be called to repair and that under the circumstances, we would not be charged a late fee since we couldn't get my handicapped dad down the 6 flights of stairs. The property was very clean; however, I did find a couple of pans that had rice residue stuck in them and one cup that wasn't really clean in the very bottom. Overall, everything else was nice, neat and clean. We would stay there again. Very comfortable.

Beautiful Views with a Beautiful Property

Our family of 6 stayed again at Islander. Condo was beautifully maintained and so spacious. Master suite is enormous. Everyone had so much space in the unit, even the balcony was huge. The views never get old, we got up every morning together and watched the sun rise each day from the balcony. The on site management are wonderful also if you have any questions. So convenient to restaurants, we love this complex. Great for families.

Amazing condo

We loved this condo and we are already planning our next booking. If you have small children I would recommend bringing some plastic containers as everything was glass. There were plug protectors in a drawer that were handy for our 1yro. I also brought plastic storage containers from home for dips and such on the beach. There’s a beach cart to tote your things down to the beach and a ramp on both sides of the condo (ones the condos and ones public beach access which was handy). We rented 2 chairs and an umbrella for the week and our family had the best time!
