Overall, great stay

Overall, great. However, the couch bed is not sleepable and the top bunk is not big enough for an adult. It is impeccably clean but it would be so much better if we didn’t have to buy staples like salt & pepper. Pool area is clean and beach proximity is good. Great view of the Bay.

The propeety was amazing the pools were so clean and refreshing, easy walk to the beach and some restaurants. Everyone one so friendly and helpful. The condo could use a paint job and a deep clean. The baseboards doors and walls were filthy and I wouldn’t let my family sit on the coach it needed a deep clean for sure. We loved the property itself

Great Location

Lovely view of the bay and pool with lazy river. There is a crosswalk over the busy highway to the beach and restaurants. Good pizza and fun bar next door at Rick’s. Condo had all the amenities we needed and was clean. Check-in was a breeze. We will be back next year.

Overall good stay

Very good location and awesome amenities. Room was clean, however, make sure to definitely pack household essentials if you’re staying more than a few days. Bed in master is not very comfortable and second bedroom is basically a hallway. Pool and hot tub were great. Just wished the lazy river was heated. Overall good stay!

Spring break

We had a great stay! There were 2 adults and 2 teens so the size of the place was perfect for us. Great location overlooking the pool and Bay Area. Pools were clean and grounds very well kept. Perfect walk across the bridge to get to the beach and a few restaurants. Very easy access to everything and we would stay again! Only thing I think could use updating is the squeaky dryer, ouch! I would definietly visit again!

The property and pools are great. The room was nice just had alot of ants. Would be nice to leave broom and mop for cleaning during week. Suggest leaving more toliet paper and trash bags for people who stay over 2 days. Needs a new dryer- Dryer sqeaks alot

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was the perfect size for our family of two adults and 2 kids. The apartment was clean but I would change the living room carpet. Once I kept that aside, it was spotless. Enjoyed the lazy river and the hot pool. We were also able to use their beach chairs, umbrella, and surfboard for the beach day located in the garage of the building. I will recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Destin.

Beautiful view outside!!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The views were very lovely. The location is as good. The condo was dirty! Large stains on the bedspread. Floor was extremely dirty. We had to wear shoes inside to keep our feet clean. Most of the dishes and all the pots had to have food removed before using. The toilets run all the time. The ice dispenser is broken and the refrigerator filter light is on to be changed. I was super disappointed by lack of cleanliness. I understand it’s a rental so it will have wear and tear but come on let’s clean it up.

Beautiful property

We love Destin West. This is the second time we've stayed here. We love the wave pool, and all the amenities provided. It is close to all the good places to eat. Highly recommend.

Could have been a little cleaner. It wasn't "dirty" by no means but the cleaning company missed an empty water bottle under a chair and there were dirty towels in one of the bathrooms. Not a big deal but certainly not something you expect to find.

I mopped the bathroom floor the night we got there. The bathtub was not clean. I cleaned a spot off the bathroom wall. It appeared to be blood. The bathroom door had dirty hand prints. (We are senior citizens - no kids). The fans were black with dirt. The Lazy River is very worn and outdated. I think it is time for us to “Move On” someplace else

Great for kids

We had a great time staying here! Pool area is wonderful and only a short walk to the beach. Condo was equipped with everything we needed. Balcony chairs are tall which made me nervous with the kids but we were extra careful. My only complaint is that there was no ramp to the pool area so I had to carry the stroller up and down stairs. So be aware of that if you have an infant. Overall great stay!
