Senior class trip

We loved the balcony so much! Right there poolside and great view of the beach! The beds were comfy and the condo was spacious!!

2nd Stay did not disappoint

Love the area, the friendly staff, the beach, the various amenities. It's a lot of people in one condo group, but didn't feel too crowded, except on Sunday (Mothers Day). Great place for a family get together with each family having their own space.

Perfect View and Clean Clean Clean!

This was our first trip here and we loved it! From the amenities the resort has- two pools and hot tubs, Fudpuckers on site, lazy river, etc. to the clean condo- we had an amazing time! The unit is very spacious and the view is perfect. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful with caveats

Great location looking at the ocean. Wonderful warm sunny mornings on the balcony. Easy to get around but hard to initially find. Twice our door codes didn’t work, but calling customer service fixed it quickly.

Great location

Very pleased with this accommodation. Location and amenities were great. Disappointed with maintenance during the stay. Dryer squeaks severely and air conditioning seemed lacking in cooling ability. Called front desk and nobody ever showed up.

Fun beach view

From our balcony you could see the beach and the lazy river. We came for our honeymoon last year and came back for our anniversary this year. The room is nice enough, big walk in shower and and a large tub. Living room furniture is a little lackluster but we didn’t spend a ton of time in there anyway. Rooms are good though. Room was clean when we got there. We enjoy the pools and hot tub. The food at the fudpuckers by the pools is good. Beach is clean. Reallyyy close to Destin. Overall great place.

Decent Condo

First of all, the vacasa people were great and easy to work with. With that being said, I’ve read several reviews about furniture, needing updating toilet seats needing fixing, etc. and I expected this to be done prior to my arrival. The furniture still needs updating or replaced in the living room Master bedroom and just some TLC.

The unit had enough space for 4 comfortably. The shower door in the master would not completely close. The couch and chair were tired and could use replacing. The map given at check in was not very informative. The garage and location of the unit was difficult. The garage could use better signage. Thanks.

Great location and view!

We loved the location of this condo! Great view of the ocean and the lazy river. It’s also near the elevator. The patio furniture is nice! There were a few things we didn’t love: The pots and pans are awful quality. Need to dust under the glass on dresser in master and on dining room table. The condo was clean but this makes it seem like it hadn’t been dusted even though the rest of condo is clean. Need a Keurig coffee maker. Master bed is comfy but squeaks. Most of the furniture needs to be updated or replaced. Looks shabby. But…the location and view is fab!

Great views and location

Condo location is great !!! The pools and lazy river access a huge perk!! Good views ! Beds comfortable , condo is spacious !! Upon arrival we found things that needed repairs and the general up keep seemed to be lacking . The furniture in living room , couch was busted down on one side so the couch sank at end , the chair in living room is faux leather and has been peeling badly , not much to look at . Both shower doors in bathrooms would not shut , one of the outlet covers was off and just had the outlet sticking out . The kitchen faucet sprayer beauty cover was coming off , and the light fixture was falling down , the kitchen had only one glass ( which we bought red solo cups ) and no pot holders . We had a great time but did feel the condo needs some refreshing for the price ;-). The balcony was amazing and the views were great!

Great get away!

Our condo had great access to the pool and the beach! We would def stay here again. The condo overlooks the lazy river and you can still see a beautiful glimpse of the beach. Check in was a breeze, the condo was clean, mattresses could use some updating, but overall had a great experience.

Neglect

Very worn and dark. Couch and chairs have very thick, heavy staining, I covered with a sheet to set. You can see the transition of what should be white grout to black! As reporteded through previous reviews, the bathroom doors and toilet need fixed. The fact that they choose to neglect reviews, I have lost respect for this company. Other bookings are much more fabulous for the same price! If you are not going to listen to filed complaints, then cut the price and state as is.

Waterscape

Waterscape is a great vacation spot in Ft. Walton Beach Florida. B 204 is located conveniently in the complex. The unit needs some TLC, furniture is worn out and beds need replacing . Location of this unit is a plus.

Love the amenities!!!

Let me say it didn’t start out great in going to find the B building we hit a Hugh Pothole which is on the access road that goes straight into the parking garage. Very thankful for AAA services but still ended up having to purchase a brand new tire of $258 on a brand new car that I have a 2022. When I reported it I was told they have nothing to do with the road on their private property. Not easy access from the front to building B and it wasn’t explained very well how to get to building B cause the map was in the unit not sent via email. The shower door in master bed doesn’t close all the way, the kitchen sink doesn’t shut off and the faucet sprayer is broke. On a positive note!! It was very clean great access to beach & pools!! The view was beautiful this was our second year coming and those minor things won’t stop us from coming back!!

Didn’t want to leave

We really enjoyed this resort. It has everything you need. We had all the kitchen tools we needed to cook. The multiple pools are great! Our group had kids ranging from 3-17 and they all had a blast.

Great location

Very good location and view. The unit itself is a little outdated compared to the other stays we have had in the same property last year. Bathroom door was not closing all the way, Toilet seat was wobbly, patio door not locking etc. Minor issues overall.

August 2021 stay

We love Waterscapes and it's amenities. Lazy river and pool are amazing. Beach service and area were great as well. Only issue during this stay was the room. Minor issues but enough to report. 1. Mold on bathroom ceilings and throw pillows. 2. Shower doors in both bathrooms broken and flooded floors after use. 3. Lights on patio did work. Call maintenance and they fixed next day. 4. All utensils were dirty and had to be re-washed. 5. Floors were sandy when we arrived. 6. Phones had no dial tone. 7. Showers had soap scum and hair upon arrival. We literally had to clean the condo when we arrived. Beds were great and sheets clean. 4th time staying in resort and tried three different condos, this was the worse. We will go back but go with other condos we have been in.
