“We loved our week at Shepherds rest! Ilona was lovely and answered questions quickly and was so good to check in periodically. The house was clean and comfortable. The scariest part of the stay was driving through the tunnel when coming and going but we were driving a 9 passenger van so a small car would have no problems at all. There are beautiful walks right outside the door and it was peaceful and quiet. Lovely place to stay!”

“I only gave it 4/5 on accuracy of the listing, because it was even better than I expected from the description. Karl, a low key, but attentive host, welcomed us with quick instructions on how to use some of the appliances, etc. The furnishings, cookware, dishes, and utensils were the best I have ever seen in a rental property—6 cutting boards! “Lovely quiet stay at the bothy, we went over with no car and stocked up with bits at Fort William! despite the loo and showers being shared this was no problem at all as they were kept clean. Lovely to have the cafe next door as well, meant we were able to get breakfast and coffee easily :)”
