“ Alovely lovely place to stay and we Will stay again ,loved that the floors are wonky but what do do expect just full of character loved it . A heads up my partner is 6ft the shower was a little on the small size .. the room was slightly smaller than we expected . The people are lovely can’t fault it at all , food was lovely enjoyed the crab especially … it was b+b shame we were not offered a cold takeaway brekkie as sadly we were leaving before breakfast was served . “We’ve booked one night here at first, then we decided to go there one day before and booked one more day. We told the reception lady when we arrived check in, she said it’s ok, no need to do the check in again and we could stay in the same room. The next day at ten mins before ten, a housekeeper locked on our door and told us to check out. We’re surprised and told her our case, she told us to check with the reception. Then the reception said we’ve to check out and come back by 4 to check in……

“Convenient location in the middle of town but no parking facility..Public car parking 100 metres away. Bedroom noisy up to 23.00 due to karaoke in bar downstairs. Very friendly and attentive staff and food choice and quality was excellent - best barbecued ribs I have had in a long time. Well kept Real Ale.”

“Great one night stay after attending a wedding in the area. Well appointed room, in adjoining stable block, with bottled water, comfy bed and great shower. Lovely breakfast. We were also given a courtesy call on the day to check we were still coming as we were at the wedding. Highly recommend.”
