A perfect stay!

Absolutely loved everything about the house; from the location to the decor. Each room was perfectly appointed. The bedrooms were spaced far enough apart that we all felt like we had our own space. Everyone one raved over the comfortable mattresses. All in all a great weekend and we would stay hete again!

The house was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need. Each room having its own bathroom created that bit of welcomed privacy for each couple. The location is a little further from Main Street than we normally stay, but it was perfect. Absolutely quiet in the evening which made the beautiful outdoor area that much more enjoyable. We are looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Wonderful!

I've never stayed in a vacation rental that was so thoughtfully equipped and comfortably furnished. It was worth our stay just to explore the owners' expertise in remodeling and decorating. We especially enjoyed the multiple outdoor, private spaces.

This is a well appointed home with everything you would need to thoroughly enjoy your stay here. We were very impressed with the small touches, such as a beautiful pastry provided for our breakfast. Perfect Mother Daughter Weekend

I stayed for a long weekend with my daughter. The house was prettier than the pictures portrayed and was absolutely perfect for our weekend. We walked to town two mornings to get coffee at a lovely coffee shop called RockHause, which I highly recommend. This is the perfect house for a family get away, a romantic weekend, or a girls trip.

Oktoberfest Vacation

This house is so charming, exquisitely decorated, extremely inviting and comfortable. The grounds were just as beautifully decorated and were just as inviting to sit outside in many different areas to fit your mood. The hosts surely want you to have everything you need as we lacked for nothing. They even left us a welcome pastry from a local bakery. The beds in every room (as reported by occupants of each bedroom) were very comfortable. The linens were also high quality. We were there for Oktoberfest and it was an easy walk to the Market. No need to find parking for the festival. The six adults enjoyed the house and town so much we plan to return just to visit.

The house is very cute and quaint. Loved all the outside areas too. Location was very convenient. The house is showing it's age. The hallway bath door doesn't lock. The bedroom door doesn't close tight. The ceiling fan in the king room makes a clanging noise. The shower drain in the king room is very slow. Despite these issues, we would absolutely stay here again.

Incredible place! The attention to details, not just those adding to the atmosphere but practical ones as well, was astounding. The amount of thought and work put into it was awesome. Three bedrooms, each with their own bath and patio with tables, chairs, and privacy. In addition common den, porch, and fire pit with room for six. Still having a price roughly equivalent with much smaller rentals. Far and away the best value and most relaxing of the seven or eight places I have stayed at in Fredericksburg. We needed it too as it rained the whole time we were in town. Thankfully this place had everything. Great job.

Our host, all of the wonderful amenities, the beautiful Christmas decor & the overall charm of this lovely home.. All the little extras added to the comfort of our stay – the breakfast ring from the German bakery on Main Street, the coffee, the water, the half-and-half. All of the amenities in the bathroom were wonderful, the extra blankets were great. They thought of everything and made our visit so welcoming and enjoyable.

We will be repeat visitors to this lovely, comfortable home! With 3 bedrooms and three full bathrooms there was room for everyone. We cooked, walked to nearby shops and restaurants, hiked near Enchanted Rock, and took a cooking class! Whether at the dining table, the parlor or one of the beautiful outside areas, the most memorable moments were just relaxing at the house.
