Great Place to Getaway!

We used the property as a getaway for a few days just the two of us. We had an amazing time and would consider using this property again in the future. The amenities were excellent and exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful property!

This was our first time in Fredericksburg. It was a beautiful space. Nestled close enough to city but felt our away from the crowds. It was a beautiful property with a all the necessities needed. Will definitely stay here again!

Absolutely beautiful! Clean, relaxing, private and overall a VERY good experience. The whole house was very thoughtful as far as the look, design all the way to the softness of the bed sheets. Definitely will recommend to friends and family and will book another stay when headed back to that part of Texas.

All the creature comforts!

We loved the Hideaway at The Gathering. It was the perfect layout and had all of the little details we didn't know we needed. Brenda was super responsive to my questions. The entire setting was beautiful and our Hideaway was peaceful. As Goldilocks would say, everything was just right. Bed was great quality / comfort. Private patio was the perfect place to enjoy a glass of local wine. My only regret was that we didn't stay longer (we will next time).

Overall was amazing!!! Outside tv has line in it, but still watchable. Bedroom was way to bright in morning for people that would sleep in. We put painter paper and tape and was 100% better next two mornings. Bed was so so to our liking. Fire place was perfect and loved it. This is a great place to stay!!

Lovely weekend

Great place! Owners thought of everything and were very easy to communicate with when we had to change reservations multiple times. Very peaceful surroundings but super convenient to town. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Cutest property close to town!

Beautiful setting… loved the furnishings and decor! The bed was super comfy with fluffy pillows! And the jetted tub was heavenly! Pictures matched the actual property.

Hideaway stay 2025

Love the place! Only issue is the couch is very uncomfortable and hard to watch TV way up high and doesn’t tilt or move. The bed is very uncomfortable as well. We also know to bring paper and painters tape since the bedroom is way bright in the mornings and no way to block windows.

Romantic, Relaxing, Perfect Location

The Hideaway was PERFECT for our anniversary getaway. Located at the end of the property, morning coffee on the front porch in the comfy chairs with the view of the open pasture watching the cows and goats was so relaxing. The space was very tastefully decorated, felt cozy and left us wanting for nothing. The kitchenette was just the right size and accommodating with plenty of space for 2. The bathroom was AMAZING and the bed was very comfortable providing a great nights sleep. We took advantage of the hot tub on the back patio/deck area every evening and it was so private and the perfect ending of a day filled with wine tasting and perusing the shops in Fredericksburg. The Hideaway is no more than 2 miles from all the action! I will definitely look to stay here again on my next visit to Fredericksburg. HIGHLY recommend! PS. We brewed the coffee provided in The Hideaway kitchenette every morning and it was SO delicious! I recommend hanging out at Hondos every night for drinks and dancing!
