The hotel is older, but it is extremely well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. I was told the building dates back to 1956, and that made the condition even more impressive: the rooms are very clean, noticeably cleaner than many modern four-star hotels I’ve stayed in.
Speaking as an engineer, the building quality really stood out to me. Even with temperatures around 2°C outside, the insulation was so good that we were able to turn the heater off at night. That says a lot about the quality of the property.
The view from the room was pleasant, and if you plan to go out at night, you should expect to spend about 15 dollars round-trip for transportation.
Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for the money. I’ll stay here again on my next visit to Fredericksburg and can fully recommend it. Five stars.
