「Owners extremely accomodating and gracious,even cooking dinner for us! Breakfeast yet to come. Like a lovely private home stay for just 1 night. Location characteristic of grandparents time of life in the middle of a town surrounded by apple orchards and grape vinyards. 5 stars!」

「This place understands what hospitality is. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed as if it was our home. Our bags were taken to our room and we had a welcome drink on the terrace overlooking the spectacular Douro Valley. We joined other guests for a family style meal and enjoyed getting to know people from many different countries. Amazing place to relax, appreciate the area, with a wonderful team to help with questions and make the visit super comfortable.」

「You must stay at this hotel!!! Breathtaking views! The breakfast buffet was amazing and we were able to eat outside while enjoying the picturesque scenery. The swimming pool was also great!」

「Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war einfach traumhaft! Die Lage ist wunderschön und die Aussicht – besonders von der Terrasse – war einfach atemberaubend. Das Frühstück war sehr fein und reichhaltig, genau der richtige Start in den Tag. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die ruhige Atmosphäre, die zum Entspannen einlädt. Auch der Pool ist sehr schön gestaltet – perfekt zum Abkühlen und Genießen. Ein großes Lob geht an die Managerin – sie war super nett und herzlich, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer...

「Et fantastisk lille hotel i middelalder byen Trancoso. Hotellets personale er meget venlige og serviceminded. Dejlig frisk morgenmad hver dag. Værelserne rengjort dagligt, og sengene redt. Dejligt fredeligt pool område med liggestole mv. Et hotel der ligger i centrum, hvor der er 20 m til kaffe på torvet, 40 meter til en kold øl og flere restauranter inden for komfortabel gå afstand. 」

「I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. At check-in, I was thoughtfully greeted and allowed to retreat to my room well over 3 hours early. Reception encouraged me to get some rest when I mentioned I was quite tired, and that they’d be happy to give me a tour once rested if this was my preference. 「We loved our stay at Quinta da Moita. The property looks pristine, the owner and staff are super nice and helpful. You see José’s dedication to keeping the place clean and tidy and you can see him walking around feeding the animals and treating the vines. They have a nice bar with a few options including their own award-winning wine, which we very much enjoyed. Personally it was also nice to stay in a black owned business that looks and feels amazing! Can't recommend enough!」
