“It's a very clean property and the staff are lovely. The breakfast was better than most of these types of places, especially the scrambled eggs and waffles. The food at the casino is terrific, although the atmosphere is lacking. The bedroom windows need soundproofing. The road traffic is quite loud. ”

“Definitely a unique property all decked out in “woodsman stuff”. One floor is nice. We had a deluxe room, which could definitely pass as an efficiency apartment. In fact, the chest of drawers was full of clothes and mail! Not just one item left behind, full. There was no flatware except two (2) forks and a can opener. When asking at the office, which appeared to be a small area off a living space, about flatware, she replied, “weren’t there two forks?” Uhhh, that was it. She gave us a pack of……

“Owned by descendants of the Gilchrist family who started this last industrial town. The couple was very friendly, helpful and personable. Nice swimming pool. Nice yard games for children to play and adults to enjoy as well.”

“on expedia, the motel is listed with a pool and hot tub. I was traveling with my 7 yo granddaughter, and drove from winnemucca to lakeview with an evening in the pool anticipated. When we arrived , there was a sign indicating the pool and spa have been closed. The desk person said there are no plans to open them-- they had just taken pictures, and planned on updating the description on expedia. I asked for a price adjustment, was told I need to contact expedia. I sent expedia a message 2……

“It was clean. Very aged building and very unmatched furniture. No phone in the room. Not what I expected from an Expedia supported property. The TV only carried basic TV so only very few local channels and no national news channels that I could find. Some choices just came up “unavailable “. The TV was so large it took up most of the wall. I could not read the room #on the key fob and had to go back to tell me the room number again. ”

“The room was Pet friendly- When i checked in the motel representative showed me a letter on the counter from the City of Lakeview explaining why the water smelt like sulfur.......everything was filthy- bedding didn't smell clean- lots of Mold throughout the room- floor was very spongy- i have Never paid for a room like this before- but because we had our 12 lb doggy who is n his last days, we had to stay there. No other hotel in this town that would take pets. There were a few farmworker work……
