Isle of Palms Front Beach Hotels

"Highly recommended! Apartment was so much more than expected (make sure to bring some cooking supplies (S&P, Oil, Etc) if you plan to cook. The property was beautiful and everything was convenient! We didn’t eat much on the property (it’s not inexpensive), but poolside snacks and drinks were great. Be aware there is $99 resort fee each night you stay. With all that said, if you are prepared for the above, it was a fantastic vacation & a beautiful spot! Highly recommended! "

"A last-minute change of itinerary brought my daughter and me to the Isle of Palms and to this hotel. The location of the hotel was perfect- right on the beach. It was easy, though somewhat expensive, to get chairs and an umbrella (from a company independent of the hotel), and the beach was clean. The staff was courteous, the room was clean, and it was nice to have breakfast available before setting out for the beach. On the downside, the hotel was more basic than I anticipated and the walls were very thin, so I was kept up late by a conversation in the next room. The area itself is nice, but there was very little to do and a lack of nearby options for something as simple as a snack (thank goodness for the hotel’s vending machines!). Not knowing anything about the area before booking, perhaps this is commonly known, or maybe we missed an area that has “more” going on. With all that said, we did enjoy ourselves. It was also kind of nice that the whole island wasn’t built up with lots of hotels. The walk down the beach was very pretty, so the lots of cool houses to see. Lastly, if you don’t mind a quick drive or a longer walk, Jeff’s Bagel Run has amazing bagels! We also enjoyed coffee from Cafe Paname."

"The resort was lovely for the most part. The grounds and the common spaces were beautiful and well-kept. They were all peaceful and family-friendly. There are multiple pools (only one is heated) and the beach/ocean is only a short walk away. Our room was nice and had everything we needed. Unfortunately, housekeeping lacked a little to be desired (we watched the same piles of sand and debris on the bathroom floor stay put there our entire stay). One day we even had to call close to 5:00 to see if housekeeping was planning on coming. The resort boasts several restaurants but not all were family friendly. We ate off-resort for the majority of our stay since we were tired of pizza. A couple last things we will mention for those looking to stay… beware of the resort fees that are charged every day and then are also taxed. Ours were right under $100/day. They also tell you that you need to valet your car with them ($35/day I believe). You are able to self-park if you so desire. We decided that next time we visit the area, we will VRBO as the resort didn’t offer all that much for the prices that they asked. "

"Home was as advertised very clean and convenient to the palm island community. Lots of restaurants close by. Charleston is only 30 minutes away. Don’t miss patriots park and the surrounding attractions.Communication with the host was excellent. Would not hesitate to stay again!"

It has become our go-to spot for our annual girls getaway, and this year marked our 5th year renting through East Islands — we’re already planning our 6th.The house is incredibly spacious and comfortable. With six bedrooms, it’s perfect for our group of six because everyone has their own private space, while still having wonderful areas where we can gather together and enjoy time as a group. The layout really makes it ideal for a friends’ getaway.The elevator is such a great feature, especially when bringing luggage or groceries upstairs. Every deck has beautiful views, which we enjoyed throughout the day — from morning coffee to evening conversations.The heated pool and hot tub are absolute must-haves and one of our favorite parts of the house. After a day out and about, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. Makes a great spot for your morning coffee too - coffee in the hot tub - ahhhhThe home truly has everything you could want for a fantastic getaway, and it’s clear a lot of thought went into making it comfortable and enjoyable for guests.We’ve had such wonderful experiences with East Islands Rentals, and 2916 Palm has become part of our Girls Week tradition.
