"This hotel is very easy to find, 2 min walk from a bus station, although bus only comes every hour. It is located at a very local village hence host only speaks little bit of English but it did not stop him from helping us in any ways. We checked in at 8pm (after dinner service), the host drove us to a nearby restaurant and then the restaurant owner drove us back to the hotel! There are two private outdoor onsen which guests can use 24 hours free of charge. The only thing I could not handle was...

"Wonderful first time stay in an authentic ryokan. Exceeded expectations. Decor is lovely. Food is delicious and served by attentive staff. Had a room with private inside and outside baths. Had never heard of a kotatso and it was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. Highly recommend."
