I like the room. It was nice to say in the least, and they were generous to provide a large TV to watch whatever programs were on. The floor was a little dirty, but either than that i enjoyed my stay. I would recommend this hotel.

Very convenient, quiet and comfortable room. Bus stop to Hakata station( 3 stops) just opposite the hotel. Nearest subway station Is Watanabedori ( less than 10mins walk) Check in can be quite slow only one self check in kiosk. Front Desk staff not helpful at all when ask them to help to book taxi to airport, they asked me to flag taxi at the roadside instead ! What a service ?! ( didn’t expect such answer from Apa Front Desk) Housekeeping team is 👍provide daily towels, pyjamas, Starbucks coffee capsule, toothpaste at the door and clean the room on our 3rd day stay.

Beds are larger twins so very comfortable. The problem we had is that it's very hard to catch a taxi from this location.

APA watanabe is convenient, it is close to a bus stop, where it is easy to transit from Hakata within 10 mins One minus is breakfast, too plain and simple , but it is still good as the package includes no charge breakfast, can't ask for more ^h

APA Excellent hotel is truly excellent. Great location. Half way between Hakata station and Tenjong. Room was spacious for japanese standard. Wifi was fast, staff spoke good English and were pleasant. Will stay here again.

I like the room, was very neat, satisfied. Location was fine and very convenient, although a bit far from the subway stations. If walking or bus ride from the airport was just fine! Also the entrance was quite convinent to access and private. In the room, there was no complementary water bottle in the refrigerator. I didn’t like the breakfast from the lack of untasted bread and boring selection of side dishes. For instance, the corn-some soup, which was not freshly prepared by chef. Sort of unprofessional and look cheap. OJ was only drink among all, was tasty and nice. Japanese meal looks better but no comments because I didnt try much. In fact, the serving Nato(Japanese easted beans) souses was terribly prepared, which made us hard to enjoy the Japanese comfort food. Also not much fresh fruits to Other than that the room was Very good!!!

Hotel was ok. Bed not very comfortable and the pillows were awful. No in hotel food service except for a limited breakfast. Also, there did not seem to be many restaurants around the hotel and in the room there was lots of advertisements for ordering food in, i.e. Dominos pizza. Front desk staff were friendly but barely spoke English so getting some advice and assistance was a challenge.

Extremely comfortable & clean room, very spacious for a single room at a business hotel, by Japanese standards -- felt great being there. Only disadvantage is that it's not on the main subway line from the airport, so there's a little bit of extra walking involved to get there -- could be inconvenient for someone hauling a lot of luggage.

Our view was terrible. It was listed as city view, but we had a rusted scaffolding, atop a very run down building as our view. The pillows are about an inch thick, so bring your own.

Overpriced needs an overall
Paid an overpriced rate as something was going on this weekend in Fukuoka and all hotels were booked. - Front desk could hardly speak english, - Room has seen better days. - no AC in months of March or April only heating - Breakfast had rotten veggies. Need an overall upgrade.

The overall experience was fair for the price, in terms of hotel condition and facilities. Two incidents left a negative impression with me though: 1) when my wife arrived at the hotel a day after I checked in, we were told the hotel could not issue her a separate key card (the room was booked for 2 people). Because we had separate appointments we had no choice but to leave the sole key card at reception to allow the other person access to the room. No explanation was given by the staff but I’ve not experienced this with a modern hotel using electronic room locks where the room is booked for 2 people; 2) we asked reception to help us make restaurant reservations at some local restaurants but they refused. We explained we needed help as we are not fluent in Japanese, so we could not do so ourselves, but they asked us to try booking online (which was not an option at the restaurants we wanted to dine at) or calling for ourselves. When we insisted they reluctantly tried making one call but it so happened the restaurant was not yet open. Normally we would ask front desk to follow up later making a booking, but we decided not to bother given their reluctance. We were left with no choice but to dine elsewhere because of their unhelpful attitude. For these reasons we will not be patroning this hotel in future. YMMV but buyer beware.

We took Airport bus to the hotel at counter 2 right outside the arrival hall. Not difficult to find the hotel especially at night time as we could be able to see the hotel name across the junction from the bus stop. The hotel located in front of main road it could be very noisy at night but we had no choice as the air-con doesn’t work. Called reception they tried explain n guided us the control button, trust me IT DOESN’T WORK. We had one heavy luggage when check out the hotel I asked the receptionist for scale unfortunately the lady gave us rude response and said NO we DON’T have. Worst was they don’t have Cart either.

Recommend APA and Fukuoka for a few days.
APA located right beside the Canal City complex which is stunning. Took the ferry out to Nokonoshima Island. The Island gardens are also stunning

This hotel is at one of the busiest intersections in town. Noise from street all day and all night. We stayed in early april and it was humid and hot, but the hotel doesn't turn air-conditioning on until May. They told us to just open the window. Hot and humid vs. loud street left us with virtually no sleep during our stay. Also, the "pillows" were literally an inch thick. Shower curtain hadn't been changed in a while, stained with mildew. Breakfast was mediocre at best.

Nice hotel for the weekend
Great hotel but located far away from the malls and other attractions. It is near a small shopping center that has a local grocery store and other shops. It definitely met my expectations when it came to value for money, comfort, and service. Hotel staff is courteous and check in process was a breeze. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
