Fristly, when we check in staff arguing first instead providing me pillow that i requested before i camw to Japan. Insteas asking to supervisor she said there is impossible to provide me extra pillow. Our room has been cleaning everyday but toilet and bath did not clean up as i can see mouldy at toilet red colour as we stayed 4 night. Public faiclity does not have towel so we need to bring our towel from our room and i have stayed two different hotel and they provide all towel inside of public bath and we asked extra pillow and there is no complaint or argued to us. Breakfast time is limited time and need to choose time and that my first time need to choose time either beforw 8 pm or after 8 pm.

The hotel is centrally located. However there should be a congestion control for the public baths. There were too many people in the bath area during the popular bath time.

Location and staff were great. The restaurant didn't allow reservations for lunch. There area is full of great restaurants within 10-15min walk from the hotel. Rooms were quite reasonably sized.

The staff is not helpful, most of them do not speak English, and they are not that willing to assist. Room is quite small for the price. But the hotel location is very convenient, close to all the shopping malls and restaurants.

The public bath was crowded with people, so couldn’t keep clean and tidy. Also same situation in the restaurant in the morning, we waited over half an hour for breakfast. The food couldn’t refill in the short time. Not recommended this hotel.

I am a single traveler and I opted for a double bed. I was only carrying a backpack. There wouldn't have been enough room for another person with luggage. It's a very nice hotel, and I recommend it, but I would suggest that couples opt for a larger room when making a reservation.

A great location, really close to Canal City shopping center, convenience stores, and the local subway station. Hotel staff was also super accommodating when I asked about tattoo covers to enter the public bath!

Great place, value and location!
The check-in was a bit slow, however everything else was great. I had everything I needed in my room, there were plenty of outlets and the room efficient and immaculate. A very convenient yet quiet part of town, all point easily accessible by foot.

Great hotel for the price. It was comfortable, clean, and the breakfast was particularly nice. We didn’t end up trying out the baths but we enjoyed the convenient location (easily accessible to the airport and Hakata Station) as well as Tenjin! Plenty of great restaurants and sights that were easy to get to.

The hotel was nice. Most staffs can communicate limited English. They were helpful. The room was nice. The public bath was nice. There was also an outdoor one. We could see the status of bath and washer. Amenities were nice.

Excellent service!
The service was excellent! Location is very convenient. The price was higher than the other hotels but we enjoyed the stay very much. We loved the public bath. The amenities they provided were superb! We only realized when we were in Beppu that not all hotels provide coffee and sugar pack in the room for the guest. We would definitely recommend Mitsui Garden Hotel Gion to our family and friends.

Clean, quite and is in the middle of everything. They don’t have a parking but you can find a 24/7 parking near to the hotel and is not expensive. Definitely is a place I’ll comeback.
