Funchal- Lido apartment for 4 persons on the 3th floor, 1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms 1 with shower great location in the heart of the Funchal tourist hotel area up from the Lido swimming-pool with many restaurants/bars and shops incl. 4 supermarkets, bakery and steak-house next door. The building have fantastic sea-views overlooking the hole Lido-area with roof-top sun-terrace with table/chairs and sun-beds.The apartment also have a private balcony with table and 4 chairs and the hole apartment are decorated with typical Portuguese style furnitures in the living-room and bedroom, living-room with bed arrangement for 2 extra persons, sleeps in total 4 persons. Living-room with big TV, cable/radio Wi-Fi Internet. Elevator and 1 private parking-space. Cleaning once a week with fresh bedlinen, towels, hand-soap and toilet-paper.
Great location and very good value for your Madeira holiday !

We stayed one week for n this very nice flat with great view over the ocean. Good value for money. It’s clean and spacious, well equipped, perfect for 2 adults not sharing the same bed. Close to shops, a bus ride away from the center of Funchal, fantastic natural swimming pools nearby and easy access to the rest of the island. We recommend

We stayed at the property for a week and absolutely loved it. The location is perfect, within walking distance to hotels, supermarkets, public transportation, tour guides, the ocean, swimming pools - perfect location. The manager was responsive, attentive and very helpful.

Nous avons passé une semaine à funchal. L appartement est très agréable , spacieux et très fonctionnel , également très lumineux . Jan nous accueilli très chaleureusement et nous a tout bien expliqué .Si vous ne désirez pas toujours aller dans la vieille ville , il y a tout à proximité , commerces et restaurants , y compris à une centaine de mètres du logement un petit restau très sympa « le tappasol » . En résumé tout pour passer un excellent séjour !! Nous recommandons ce logement idéal pour découvrir madère !

A good size, well equipped apartment with everything we needed as our base - and a very nice sea view! Our host, Jan, was very helpful and gave us some useful advice, particularly about ievada walks. The location was ok for us but it is a good 30-40 minute walk into Funchal which, as keen walkers, we were fine with but some might find a bit far. There is a good bus service and plenty of taxis if required. But don't trust the Aerobus for getting you back to the airport!!

I definitively enjoyed the location of the apartment. Thirty minute walk from the heart of Funchal, close to the walk from the Lido area to the Formosa beach, plenty of restaurants etc. The apartment is cosy and the balcony is nice with good views. The kitchen would profit from more working space. The instructions to go to the apartment and the welcoming are excellent.

Top Lage mit Meeresblick in Sao Martinho, um die nähere Umgebung mit Funchal Zentrum zu erkunden und Ausflüge auf der gesamten Insel zu starten. Die Ferienwohnung ist mit traditionellen Möbeln ausgestattet und gewinnt dadurch einen besonderen Charme. Jan ist ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter, der sich auch um den Flughafentransfer kümmert.

This was our fourth visit to Madeira and luckily we found this apartment and gave it a try. We couldn`t have been happier and wil rebook it for next year. We were greeted by Jan and he couldn`t have been more helpful. We knew he was just a call away if needed, but it was not necessary throughout the 42 night stay. The apartment is in the ideal position, bus stop directly outside to the centre, although it is only a nice 45 minute stroll. There are lovely restaurants all around the area. Regarding the apartment itself, it has a real authentic Portuguese feel to it, lovely furniture. Spacious and comfortable. The real bonuses in comparison to other apartments we stayed in are, two bathrooms, large balcony to sit and have a glass of wine, the rooftop terrace with sunbeds. The other residents are quiet and friendly, no noise to disrupt your holiday. I highly recommend this apartment even though I may struggle to book it for myself if enough people believe my review, ha ha! Give it a try, you won`t regret it.
