Spacious and fresh apartment in central Funchal

Spacious and fresh apartment in the center of Funchal. Very well equipped kitchen and lovely large terrace. The location is very central in the old part of Funchal. Many restaurants nearby so you can hear the street life.

This is a lovely renovation of a town house in a very central location for the old town and its restaurants. The terrace is large and comfortable. And the apartment was spotlessly lean. We would be happy to stay here again.

Perfect apartment with great rooftop terrace

We stayed for 3 weeks in this wonderful and newly renovated apartment. Perfect for two adults not afraid of running on inside staircases. We prepared some of our meals in the kitchen with new stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Breakfast and dinner at the beautiful rooftop terrace.

Excellent Apartment in prime position

I would highly recommend this apartment. Good value for money, with excellent facilities, and very clean. We stayed for 13 nights and appreciated the change of towels and bedsheets half way through holiday. We especially enjoyed the Terrace. The location of the apartment in the old part of Funchal meant you were close to all the main attractions, with many restaurants close by, but as some previous guests have mentioned there is some noise at night, but it did not affect us sleeping. Maybe in the summer months with the window open it may be more of an issue. We would book this apartment again should we return to Funchal.

Great Spot, Great Accommodation

This house is in a fantastic spot close to the old town, just off the Rua de Santa Maria. It is very close to the main strip with all the restaurants and bars with little supermarket just round the corner. Only a short walk to the cable car, bus station and sea front, so ideal for getting round. Don't think its that long since it has had an upgrade so everything was very modern, bright and pristine with a great sun terrace to sit out on, which catches the sun from 11am onward. Down side to the perfect spot was that it could be a bit noisy at night as some of the bars stayed open until 2am, but not every night. We Stayed 2 weeks and got a linen change after week one. Would definitely use again.

We stayed at this property for 3 weeks in April this year Excellent Location, near all old town Bars and restaurants easy access to City Centre and Markets, promenade.Property in very good condition, Clean and all appliances and furnishings modern, customer service was excellent extremely helpful and friendly orgainsed airport pick up was on time, especially as our flight had been delayed by 16 hours due to poor weather conditions when trying to land in Funchal.We would certainly recommend this Property and (Island apart) to other potential Clients. One very slight negative the awning Canopy was too sensitive to slight wind changes and retracted to easily.

Enjoy the center of Funchal

Extraordinarily nice location in the center of Funchal 's old town. Comes - no surprise - with noises at night and very early morning. Super well kept house - bathroom doesn't live up to the standard of the rest of the house. More towels should be abailable.

Mooi appartement.

Een zeer mooi en compleet appartement gelegen in het centrum van Funchal. Bij een eventuele nieuwe vakantie naar Madeira zouden wij dit appartement zeker opnieuw boeken. Nadeel dat het appartement gelegen ligt aan voor autoverkeer drukke doorgaande straat. Dit gaf best veel geluidsoverlast in de slaapkamer en was het haast niet mogelijk om het raam in de avond of nacht open te kunnen laten staan. Contactpersoon was niet bereikbaar of reageerde niet op Whatsapp contact, terwijl ze dit wel wordt aangegeven als 24/7 contact. Later is ons probleem via berichten airbnb site snel en goed opgelost.

Gostamos muito de visitar a Madeira e o Funchal em particular, a casa foi do agrado de toda a familia. Encontramos uma casa perto de tudo, super limpa e confortavel com todas as comodidades em muitissimo bom estado. Valera a pena repetir.
