"After the super awkward experience of walking into the unlocked door of the owner’s house instead of the office, I was glad I found this place. The cabin I had was very cute and comfortable and it pretty much everything someone would need. I have to be honest, though, I would expect a little more for the price I paid. My first critique is an easy fix- one of the windows had no shade or blinds, which is a huge minus for a night shift working light sleeper like my myself. My other complaints aren’t things the owner can necessarily control without a big investment and lots of work. The bathroom was incredibly tiny. I’m a small person and taking a shower was a bit of a challenge in the broom-closet sized space. The parking was also challenging, as well as the way other people had chosen to park, as it was pretty much a free-for-all situation. After bringing in my luggage, I went to get some takeout, and when I returned, I drove up to my cabin to find that someone had taken my spot. I drove further to find a different spot, but another person had blocked the only available egress, so I had to back all the way down the narrow, bumpy, dirt road to get to a place where I could park. Some organization and designated spots would fix that one if a bigger project was out of the question. That said, the price was still better than some other places in the area and I would stay there again."

"We had a lovely short stay in Old Orchard Beach. We really liked the property which was nicely decorated, very clean, with spacious rooms and a great deck and yard. It is in a quiet road - with very friendly neighbors! - and very well situated for local amenities and just a 5 minute drive to the beach. The owner was very communicative and helpful."

"I see that some other guests have questioned whether the condo really sleeps six, and the hosts have assured them that it does. Well, yes, technically. The twin bed in the smaller bedroom has a trundle bed, and the couch is a pullout, so each bedroom could sleep two and another couple could sleep in the pullout. But we had a party of five-- all adults-- and we were so on top of each other that two of us wound up staying elsewhere. Also: in the main room, the stools around the common table are quite high and uncomfortable for sitting. I mention this not only because we couldn't use the table for that reason (and we were all between 5'6" and 6'1") but also because the owners have done a really admirable job outfitting the place-- the bathroom, especially, is very well-appointed-- so I hope they might consider replacing those stools with stools that are about 4-6 inches lower and have cushions.And everyone who has remarked on the cleanliness of the place is right. It was immaculate. There was a welcome basket of snacks, and all the kitchenware and appliances were first-rate. The location is terrific, as well, and we really enjoyed being close to the fountain and the outdoor table. If screens could be added to the windows, that would be ideal-- we kept them open (the temps were in the 70s) and loved the breeze but worried about bugs. All in all, a lovely place-- but a good deal smaller than the five of us had imagined."
