“The setting is idyllic in lovely peaceful surroundings, nature all around. The cottage is large, airy and bright and everything you could need was provided. Although quite a distance from Oban, the main road was pretty quiet and a pleasant drive. The pool was an added bonus, but the sauna wasn't working. We were there on the hottest weekend of the year, so didn't need the sauna.”

“The apartment was pefect for our first two nights in Scotland. Easy to get to once we arrived in Edinburgh and everything was explained clearly by Mark, so we new exacty what to expect. The apartment was very well equipt with everything we needed and some wonderful extras during our stay. The woodstove was an awesome highlight as we kept warm playing games at night and enjoying the wine and treats left for us to enjoy. Would highly recommend as a stop during a Scotland roadtrip or longer stay.”

“An excellent discovery of the Melfort Village. Our cottage was perfect in every way. Clean and very cosy with all the essentials. The location is really good as if is slightly raised over the village and the view from the main area and master bedroom is stunning. You can see over the villages and through the lake. “Melfort Village is terrific. Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation. There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. The staff are great, enthusiastic and helpful.Walks in the nearby hills or to the lochs.
