2 bed apartment less than an hour from Edinburgh
Basic accommodation with some nice homely touches.
Unfortunately, biggest issue for us were the external stairs up to the front door and also internal stairs to bedrooms. My 76yo mother uses a walking stick and I was temporarily on crutches too so we both struggled. Getting up the narrow outside steps in the dark with no lighting was quite precarious. Listing really should highlight the property is not accessible for those with mobility issues.
Bedrooms did not have proper curtains so we were woken at first light.
Generally clean but not spotless.
Was reasonable price and convenient for train to Edinburgh (50mins) for Fringe festival.
