「Every detail of our stay was perfect, including 4th of July decorations and a bottle of wine. The hot tub was fantastic. We loved watching birds from the balcony. The kitchen was big and well stocked. There was a cute little drive in down the road for ice cream. We would be happy to return!」

「We are 4 women in our eighties who have been friends since grade school. We take an annual 4 day trip each summer. This year we wanted to learn about the Driftless area of southern MN and WI. The mansion in La Crosse was the perfect home base for exploring the area. We enjoyed our stay at the Cargill-Pettibone mansion. Lots of room and nice accommodations. We would definitely recommend it to a larger group. 」

「This is a charming property, a quick drive or longish walk from downtown La Crosse. The host is very accommodating and responsive. I appreciate all the games and the scavenger hunt!」

「We stayed the weekend for a college reunion- this is our 5th stay - and it keeps getting better. Friday night we had a small get together before heading out to local restaurants and all who stopped by commented on how beautiful the house was and how great the location is. Both inside and outside were great- was a great venue for the 8 of us who stayed. Already looking at dates for the next get together- and making a reservation for “the house” will be top on the list of to dos. 」

「We went and watched the sunset on the boat, did some fishing, and got Engaged! Best vacation yet!Plenty of space for the dogs to roam around and Lucy was a very welcoming neighbor :)」

「We enjoyed the serenity of the property. A quiet place for 2 old friends to catch up. The house was very comfortable, everything seemed brand new & it was sparkling clean. Convenient location for everything we wanted to do. Would suggest adding a railing to the boat dock for safety. 」

「We had a great time staying at this cozy place on the river. It was so close to everything we had planned for our stay and we really enjoyed it. 」

「Well-maintained cabin not far from Lock 6 on the Mississippi river. Has a screened porch, useful on days when mosquitos are active. There is a fire pit with firewood to enjoy evenings outside. A gas grill is also on-site to grill some steaks, should you decide to. Beds are comfortable. Owners take great care to make sure your experience is as good as it can be.」

「Perfect location for a few guys to get together for a low key weekend in La Crosse. Loved being on the river and able to enjoy nature and kayaking straight from the backyard. Quick drive to downtown for bars and restaurants as well. Everything was expected from the online booking. 」

「We very much enjoyed our stay at Larry's and Luann's VRBO apartment. It had everything we needed, was extremely clean and very comfortable. Larry and Luann are great hosts - very responsive and very accommodating. We would highly recommend this property!」

「Everything is as promised and we enjoyed the house. Enjoyed talking with Tanya and Jasper and one of the chickens visited us on the balcony. We also enjoyed walking by the creek.It is on the list of properties we want to come back to next year. 」

「The house was simply wonderful and Signe was a gem as a host. We stayed for a couple of nights during our honeymoon and enjoyed our stay immensely!
