"We stayed here for five nights and found the room compact but perfectly adequate for our needs. A quick tip for those visiting in the spring: the A/C was not yet activated during our stay in late March and early April, as it isn't turned on until the summer months. Also, if you need to iron, there is a dedicated ironing room located on the 5th floor. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our visit. The continental breakfast was phenomenal a perfect way to fuel up before a day of exploring. The location is both safe and convenient; being next to a federal building limits traffic primarily to taxis, and some of Rome’s best gelato is right around the corner. It’s also within easy walking distance of most major sites."

"KEEP AWAY!! Do NOT stay here. Old, dirty, rude, dilapidated, inconvenient, NO handicap access, NO ramp, NO bellman, NO courtesy. You have to carry your own bags several hundred feet through the cobblestone streets past the fountain through mobs of tourists before you reach the hotel front door steps. Carry your bags up the front stairs to the front desk (NO lobby). Once checked in carry your own bags up creaky steep stairs or take your life in your hands by taking the tiny make-shift elevator (barely big enough for one person and one bag standing on end) shaking and jerking to your floor. Our room faced the fountain. We could actually see the fountain if we stood on a chair (but there was no chair). The window is very high up. Tiny, tiny room. No closet. Be prepared to SIDESTEP to get past the bed from the door to the window. Bathroom was antiquated but surprisingly clean. Young woman at check-in was courteous but the manager was rude, obnoxious and a disgusting jerk. He tried to overcharge by 30 euros just for calling a taxi. Air conditioner/ heater doesn’t work. Windows don’t open. “Breakfast “ was warm coffee and a table full of exposed rolls and meats and cut fruit and cheeses that are already dried out. VASTLY, ridiculously overpriced. If you care nothing about your room or amenities and just want an expensive, dirty rude place to crash that is right next to the Trevi fountain then this is your place. I will NEVER return"

"Great spot and within walking distance to a lot of you understand the back roads in Rome. Very authentic. Couldn’t figure out how to get the tub to get hot, but otherwise great place. Expedia has breakfast included in the listing and that’s not true. Not the location’s fault, but don’t book this expecting breakfast. Staff very helpful. Very Roman feel to it. "

"The representation of the property here at Expedia is different from the reality! No room service, every morning you have to go to a different building that front desk is and pick up your breakfast card, then walk somewhere else for breakfast which they dont open till 7:30am, when traveling to Rome you need to eat early so you can make it to the place you like to visit early so you can be at the front of the line.we had a room in an apartment sharing with 4 other families! When we booked I thought its a regular hotel but its like a pension. "

"How Expedia rated this hotel in the "luxury" category is beyond me. This is at best a 2-star hotel, as it was missing some very basic amenities, such as a coffee make and there was NO air conditioning service (not turned on until summer, I was told). All this besides the fact the hotel is very near a bad area (Termini terminal) and I was told by the staff to not go there when night falls. Expedia needs to do better."
