Our first time here and I’m already planning my return. There were some questionable people in the parking lot, and with no ac right now needed to open the windows, which have no screens.
But the charm ambiance, and history are amazing! We had dinner in the dining room - best tamales I’ve ever had. Timing was off though - dinner came out one minute after appetizers, then dessert and check took quite a bit of time.
Room is cozy, by which I mean, don’t over-imbibe because you will definitely hurt yourself in the tiny bathroom. Still, it was a joy to walk around the 2nd floor balcony, looking at the pictures on the wall.
Great gift shop too!
