we go all the time to the condo side and love it. booking was easy, communication was good even when we booked and then wanted to add a day. check out is a little too early for us but we are use to the family condo (lol) and normally leave about 3pm. would i stay here again yes and most likely will. parking is great as it’s in the garage (fob is obtained at check in) pool passes are in the room and you will need them for the pool. i would have liked too have a second set of dry towels but everything else was great. ice maker is great too. my two main requirements are a lot of hot water and a good ac and it had both.

Peaceful getaway

We just love the San Luis and being able to rent a condo verses a hotel room is wonderful. This condo is very relaxing and peaceful.

Lovely Rental

The condo was lovely! The two balconies gave us a place to retreat for both teens and couple. Kitchen was well appointed, bedding and linens all clean and soft and plenty of them. Excellent view, close to everything and access to all hotel amenities. Would definitely stay again!

Property manager was very responsive and amenities were amazing! Cleanliness of bedding, pillows and mattresses could be improved. Also couldn’t use either balcony because of rusted furniture with sharp rust chips on floors

Loved our stay here! I took off one star because the bed was absolutely awful. Hard as a rock and worst nights sleep I’ve had in a while. Aside from that the place is beautiful and we loved our stay!

Don’t stay here

This place should not be listed. It’s dirty. There are holes all in the walls, no dead bolt which a safety concern as anyone with the code could come in, the bathtub won’t drain, the toilet runs, and they don’t launder the bedding. Stay away!!! We had to leave as we were so uncomfortable. We have asked for a refund and of course the rental company is MIA! Definitely not what it seems.

The condo was filthy. The carpet was dirty. The bedding was old and questionable. The air conditioning was not working when we arrived. The garburator did not work. The TV I. The living room malfunctioned two days before we left.

Quick Get Away

Love staying at the San Luis Resort as it never disappoints-the condo could have been nicer if it was just cleaner. There was mildew growing in the shower and under the soap dish on the wall. The area rugs were filthy and very stained.- so the dirty bathroom floors weren’t covered. There were no sheets for the fold out sofa. Minimal amount of supplies for cooking but that was fine since I didn’t plant to cook much. Overall a better housecleaning crew would do wonders especially for what I’m sure the owners are paying for them.

Very disappointed

The condo's sleeper sofa was extremely uncomfortable. I had to go purchase an air mattress to sleep on. The bathroom sink was stopped up. There were not even enough towels for the weekend stay, had to go to the pool at the resort to get towels. No washer or dryer to use so that we could at least wash the few towels we had. Was very disappointed in this condo. I have stayed in many condos in Galveston and this is by far the worst experience.

Great location, dingy condo

Good location right on the seawall. The grounds, restaurants, and pool of the main hotel are very nice; however, the condominium side is more rundown. We were greeted by a pile of dirty linens on the floor of the closet in the master bedroom. The cable TV did not work in either the bedroom or the living room. Wi-Fi was very spotty. The mattress in the bedroom (as well as the one on the sofa bed) were both awful. We did not have a restful night’s sleep the entire stay. The furnishings in the unit otherwise were quite old and cheap. No outlets by the bed. The only plus was the view of the ocean from the balconies; otherwise we would not stay here again.

Not as advertised and filthy

Cons: Very dirty - sheets were stained so we had to go to Walmart to buy new sheets for the king size bed and the full size couch pull out bed, No blanket for couch bed was provided so we had to buy that as well. Thank God for Walmart. Rug in common area was disgustingly dirty. Holes in the walls, mildew in shower, towel rack falling off wall. Furniture on balcony was rusted and cut my son's foot. Bedroom was incredibly hot even with a/c turned all the way down and curtain closed for the entire stay - 2 nights. Advertised washer/dryer in the unit which was one of the main reasons we chose this unit - no washer/dryer in the unit(unless behind locked doors). San Luis is a beautiful resort but this condo unit was awful. The amount that we spent for 2 nights you would expect so much more than what we got. Greatly disappointed! Pros: View was nice.

Loved the view and the bed was very comfortable. Older property but very cozy. My rating is a 4.5 since there were only 2 bath towels available in rr, done under sink cabinet where they should have been. Later we found 2 towels under the tv console.

Beautiful condo with amazing view Construction until Thanksgiving 2022

I would have liked a heads up about the construction. We were woken by a jackhammer in the parking garage at 830am. The construction is expected to last until Thanksgiving. Pool is amazing. Great resort. Take some paper towels. We also picked up a lotion soap for the room. The bar soap is very messy without a soap dish. There were extra towels in the bathroom linen closet including beach towels. Full kitchen. It's not like I'm going to cook on vacation but i love having a full size fridge with freezer. I liked having a separate bedroom. This unit has tile floors with rugs for comfort which was great because carpets can get musty with the sea air and cause asthma. I will probably rent this unit again if it is available for my next trip.

My portion of heaven on earth.

I loved loved loved the view. My view while cooking, my view while watching TV and my view in the morning waking up. I would really enjoyed my stay.
