"Room were clean. No smell no stains."

"The hotel was nice, as the room, however smaller then expected. Didn't like being charges a daily service fee for services not used (beach chairs, bikes, wifi). Parking is terrible. Either pay $40 a day for valet, which is good if you come and go though out the day, however, you car is parked in a uncovered lot (hot sunny days). The alternative is a parking lot across the street @ $10 for 4 hrs and $18 over 4 hrs., but if you come and go, it adds up. Parking should be included. Dress code after 5/6pm., kind of silly for a hotel that is across the street from the beach. Coffee in the morning...loved. Would have liked to buy a Galvez t-shirt, not available in their boutique... funny."

"We had a mixed stay at Galveston Beach Hotel. On the positive side, the location was super convenient, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and we really enjoyed the pool and having a balcony. In room refrigerator and microwave were great. The beds were also very comfortable! The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus, though it could definitely use more protein choices (more and more people are on "the shot" and cannot do sugar/carbs without significant issues). However, the hotel is showing its age and feeling a bit dilapidated. We noticed cracked plaster and buckling flooring, and our room door was damaged, making it a struggle to open and shut. Also, there's no carpet in the rooms (which might bother some), and the elevators are incredibly slow. Overall, it’s a decent beach hotel right on the seawall if you prioritize convenience and a good night's sleep, but the physical property is in need of some upkeep and updates."

"The property was great. I loved all of the amenities my children enjoy the complementary breakfast. My older child would have liked a deeper and larger pool, but my younger nine-year-old enjoyed playing in the pool. Our room had a great view of the pleasure Pierre and beach. The staff was excellent very helpful very kind and courteous. I enjoyed my stay and I am looking forward to coming back and booking again at the same location."

"They had really good Wi-Fi you need to pay for the Wi-Fi I love her pregnant ways the pool is clean very clean and the breakfast was good I just wish they had more they mostly just have waffle makers and cereal and juice that's probably about it oh and Brad and jelly and a croissant but that was about it I wish they didn't have the eggs and bacon and stuff but they didn't but other than that it was good it was great it was awesome it was right next to the store go to the store without dirty in our car with sand. The people there work there were nice helpful. Did you have to pay $15 per day for parking that's something I did not like honestly I think they should have made it worried you could park there without making the pay just to get sticker showing that you have a room without making me pay for the sugar so $60 from mon through friday"
