“The condo wasnt ready. We texted the owners since we didnt receive our access code. We arrived in Galveston at 11 am to not be able to get into our condo until after 8 pm after going to the property twice to find the owner still there was very inconvenient. There were no kleenex, a half of a role of paper towels, no broom or dust pan. We found the condo exterior and lobby were under construction also and we received no notice of this. Hammering and drilling was daily all day. Naps were difficult……

“Started off not getting the access code from the host. After arrival called went straight to voicemail, waited 10 minutes and we then get a call with the code but then only to be told the place wasn’t yet clean. Said “the cleaning crew” was 30 minutes away, an hour later there wasn’t a cleaning crew but the host themselves. Keep in mind this is 8pm, Sat around for 45 minutes for them to clean the place. 3rd issue go to bed and the bed frame was broken. Ended up having to sleep on the floor in……

“Paid in full upfront 3 months before trip Host contacted us 3 days before trip and discloses a $35 hidden resort fee which ends up being $40 upon arrival. Very dated property and not worth any amount of $. Avoid”

“Air conditioning was set on certain temperature even if we adjusted it went back to original temperature and felt hot at night. No kitchen trash bags left we had to get some. Location was great, we enjoyed our weekend getaway, however feel like the place is outdated with supplies needed to make it more comfortable and convenient stay. ”

“Condo was nice and as stated in the listing. However, when we checked-in the bedsheets and pillow had hair on them resulting in us washing all the bedsheets before sleeping on the first night.”
