Gardnerville Romantic Hotel

"I was here for a group trip, but did not want to stay at one of the casinos because of the cigarette smoke, and this was a great alternative. It was very convenient, walking distance to group activities, and also walking distance to the shuttle stops and lift for Heavenly slopes. I ended up extending my stay for a day because I wasn't ready to leave. The food onsite was good and good portion sizes. Also, having lived in South Florida, I greatly appreciated the decor and thought it was very well done in the room and throughout the property. At times, the wifi signal was not strong enough to cast shows from my devices to the TV and I was not able to reach the back of the TV to connect my AppleTV."

"We traveled this past weekend with my friends dog to this hotel, located on a small area of the beach, not disappointed. The hotel room was clean and pretty spacious for 2 adults and a dog. We were just a few shorts steps from the beach, which was located on the property. The hotel has a hot tub, seems like heated pool, firepits around, they offer s’mores kits in the evenings, and a couple bars/restaurant's. Conveniently across the street is a Safeway for all your little needs. The hotel room doesn’t have a microwave, but there is one in the lobby. The room did come with a fridge, coffee machine, complimentary 2 waters and of course the fireplace. Oh there also is coffee located in the lobby, but sadly it’s not free, which I think it at least should be as you’re paying resort fees and since it’s snow season their Tiki Bar is closed at the moment. Nice place, would stay again. Def doesn’t look run down as a pet hotel, shoot can barely tell there was an animal in there. "

"Off price season rate was awesome for a two night stay. Quiet and clean. Loved having a kitchen, living room and separate bedroom. "

"Girl at the check in was wonderful. We arrived a little early and she found a wonderful room for us and we checked in early. Room was great with a super view. Comfy bed and cool big ol sofa. Saw a concert and the concert facility was wonderful. Worked out and got a great lift in. Ate at WOLF…yummmm. Finished off the next day w breakfast at the restaurant by the gym and it was great too. "
