"Celebrated an anniversary and birthday while staying at the Waxenstein. An anniversary card and chocolates in our room and a special birthday breakfast table with champagne for my wife’s birthday. All unexpected but greatly appreciated. No doubt our future trip to Grainau will include a stay at the Waxenstein."

"Comfy hotel for the price. Staff was polite and the location was amazing. Only critique I have is they could clear the snow in the parking lots a little more so there’s more parking spots. "

"We were so tired when we arrived but were able to check in early. The frau was funny and so very helpful. She helped us with tips on our activities and was just a very nice constantly helpful person. She provided really good options for restaurants too. I highly recommend this hotel. 👌 "

"Excellent location with unique and interesting design and architecture. The restaurant provided an excellent breadth of food selections and healthy options. Staff was excellent at keeping food available and fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Only recommendation would be to upgrade room towels as ours were rather worn and not of good quality."
