"I would never return nor reccommend this property to anyone. There was construction going on in the front of the building from 5am-10am with non stop banging. The construction of the entire building is also built extremely poor where you can hear a pin drop from the room next door to the person below and above you even with 10 ft ceilings. "Loved it for the adventure and friendly staff. But it's not a typical hotel: Finding the unmarked entry and making sure we coordinated arrival with our hosts. But it worked out perfectly. It's really an old "inn." Plus there are a few flights of stairs. But it's location right in the center of everything walkable (but not loud and off the main street). (Not good for cars probably.)"

"SAN Giorgio Rooms are fantastic! The front desk gentleman was very kind and spoke very good English. He took the time to draw out all the highlights to see close to the hotel. The largest aquarium in Europe is just across the plaza. The sheets on the bed are so crisp and the down comforter was so warm. Highly recommend this accommodation. It is very private and not like a regular hotel with front desk, restaurant etc."

"Shared bathroom means you could be waiting a while to use it. At time of my bathroom was occupied for almost an hour by 2 women in other room so you can be in trouble if you urgently need to use toilet as there are no other options, at least none I was made aware of. Also the place can be very noisy. Room was adjoining front entrance and you could hear people coming and going."

"Traveling with my parents, there is no information on the website of how it is, they are in the 4th floor of a building that seems to be an office building, too many stairs for olden people, definitely not older people friendly, the elevators are way too small. "Third time visiting this hotel bang in the centre of Genoa, but the first time as a family. The family room was really large and very comfortable. Sergio is very friendly and helpful and the central location cannot be beat. Even the old lift to the fourth floor is a bit of an adventure. There are plenty of places for breakfast just a few metres away, so no problems there. Will definitely be back!"
