「Clean and quiet resort that’s close to everything we wanted to visit! The cabins are very spacious and the kids loft was fun for my daughter. The kitchenette with stove top was convenient and saved us some money on dining out during our stay. There was a full-sized coffee pot in the cabin also so you can bring your own coffee. 「Visited in the off season and it was a nice quiet stay. Loved the little cabin we stayed in, too. It seemed either like a newly built or newly refurbished. Either way it was very comfy and inviting. The dogs at the main building were very friendly, too!」

「I loved everything about this place!! It's exactly as advertised. It's a studio in a barn. It's not fancy, but it's beautiful and was exactly what I wanted. I loved falling asleep to the sound of the creek on the property. The hosts are right there but respectful of privacy. Super nice people!! 」

「Love it here! Great staff & clean property」

「Clean and comfortable stay. Host was very friendly and knowledgeable. Location was central to all the Black Hills activities we wanted to do. The kids loved the loft in Cabin 1. The first cabin wasn’t too far off the road, so there was some traffic noise, but we enjoyed how the location was in the forest and quietly off-set from all the tourist happenings. We would stay again! 」

「Rooms looked and smelled clean. Sheets and towels were bright white and smelled freshly laundered. Property managers were cordial, easy to get ahold of, and accommodating. There is a small fire pit near the rooms, and there are grilling options available if you want to go that route. It is right on the outside of Hill City and an easy drive to Rapid City, Custer, and Keystone. We will DEFINITELY stay here again! 」

「Mile High Cabin was just what our family needed! We had three family units and the accommodations were more than adequate. The sites and activities we enjoyed were easily accessible from our cabin. There’s were multiple activities that could be enjoyed inside on the rainy days and when we needed down time. The kitchen was fully equipped for us and spacious enough for multiple people helping prep. We all want to come here again!」
