It’s been a week since my return but I could not let another day pass without acknowledging the wonderful staff at the Pegasus. During a time of sorrow; they ensured my needs were met and genuinely asked after myself and mother as to how we were faring during a difficult time. The staff at Pegasus extended themselves to ensure an earlier check-in, and late checkout while making sure our accommodations were up to par and satisfactory at all times. Thank you.

I want to thank the GM for upgrading our rooms. The rooms in the new tower were very clean and nice. Spacious as well. Staff was polite and very helpful. Felt secure when the team escorted us to our rooms when we arrived at 1 am. Thanks to the team.

We hope the Up Graded Complimentary Presidential Suite was good with you with you. on the mosquito subject it is true, remember it is an open Tropical Opena Space Hotel, surrounded with nice coconut trees and more and from the Atlantic Ocean which we are next to it, on raining season there is a lot of mosquitos in general in Guyana. Services pass 10:30 P.M. is listed on hotel directory and I assume you did not get a minute to read.As you may have seen, we have a new Suites/Residences Hotel (where at the moment 15 head of Caricom States are staying) soon to be listed in EXPEDIA, perhaps next time book there and sure we will take care of you, Have a nice week. Hotel is still in great condition, stayed in a suite which was very spacious and clean. Would love to see some modern renovations be done to the hotel as there is great potential there. Nonetheless the property was well kept, extremely close to the seawall which is convenient. Overall my family and I had a great stay. Be mindful of the mosquitoes!

Warm hospitality from GM Carlos Montenegro and staff made a grief-stricken trip tolerable. Our room was upgraded, without additional cost, to an executive suite which was quite comfortable and comforting. Special shout-out to servers Donnata and Stevanelle and Ritchie and Victor of the Executive suites. Much gratitude to GM Carlos for his letter of condolence. Thank you for your caring ways. For its hospitality and cleanliness, we highly recommend Guyana Pegasus hotel to all visitors.

staff was always willing to help - my coffee in room was mild and Kevin in reception gave us 2cups from his office. housekeeping said they dont have body lotion for the rooms but she still went and found 1bottle for me on the day before we left. Food was better than vendors out of hotel. We ate in. The area by Bar/Grill needs lighting for reading menu. The tile needs repairs or women should be careful with heels. For safety wear flats. Not enough waiters on a busy night. The live band could put u to sleep. Wifi worked good. Housekeeping cleaned up good.

I previously stayed at this property which was not my best stay. Food was awful and the service was slow but the location was ideal. I booked another stay at this hotel for Aug 20th 2023 the day C’bean airlines cancelled all flights and despite me calling the Hotel to inform them of the situation and me asking them to shift my dates rather than refund me, they have refused to do either. The cancellation was no fault of mine and their approach was dishonest and lack integrity! I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!

Ms. Debbie/ Mr.Gomes: Your concern about an airline having problems and make you lose your flight that is beyond our control the airline is according to the law responsibility to reimburse your lost flight, accommodation, meals and 3 minutes free long-distance call. when you buy goods from a third party in this case accommodation (Expedia) or other services there is always the opportunity to buy with the purchase, in case of emergency an insurance, I guess you choose not to do this time. I was originally supposed to be in the old building, and was upgraded to the new building. Unfortunately, it isn’t convenient for the elderly or small children as you have to walk across the parking lot to go to restaurants or use the pool. The new building’s room was very nice, spacious and clean. Though it did lack basic necessities and room service. The staff attempted to be accommodating and make up for the inconveniences. Letters to clients need to be proof-read as it lacks professionalism. Overall it was an okay stay, but I wouldn’t return.

I’m Guyanese traveling alone, so am aware of the crime. On my first day I expressed concern. There was no time I felt unsafe. The staff was helpful at all times. They escorted me next door to the bank. Johnny, the security guard got me a cab at nights & always greeted me with, “I’m glad you’re back safely.” The General Manager followed up to ensure all was well. Albeit, the hotel is not the 5-star I remembered when I lived there, however the rooms are clean, service is slow, food is good, poolside is nice and mostly as safety is of paramount concern for me. I would definitely stay there again.

They had coffee in the room & we had to go down to the lobby to ask for a spoon. The hairdryer was screwed down in a drawer & not in the bathroom so there was no mirror to dry your hair. The TV really sucked, there was only about 4 channels that worked. They had limited dining choices, and they do not have a gift shop.

The hairdryer being screw in a draw I personally visit your room and found it is in a draw that you can lift and take it you the bathroom for use. The mirror to dry your hair is an equipment that on modern amenities hotel we do not use them anymore, we use and offer you a full front bathroom mirror or full length mirror outside the bathroom.On site we 30 HD channels all in working conditions and perhaps a call to our 24 hours Duty Manager at Front Desk would have solve you observationOur hotel property has the most number of restaurants in Guyana - 6 of them, Aromas Restaurant, Ignite Bar and Grill Pool Restaurant, Latino Wine Tapas Bar, El Dorado Italian Restaurant and The Fusion By Pegasus Restaurant, sorry that you miss them all while staying with us. Was born here so after 40 years I’m back for a brief visit. Always wanted to hole up in the Pegasus lol. Carlos the manager arranged an airport pick up which was great.Plane landed at 11 pm. Thank you sir. The hospitality of my people were exceptional at the hotel. All inclusive breakfast was very nice. One morning they served pepper pot!!! I’m a runner…and the hotel is smack right by the sea wall. It was fantastic running on the wall. Got some mileage in oh man that was a unique experience.The hotel gym had every piece of equipment I needed. Pegasus ROCKS!!!

I stayed in the new tower. It was very luxurious. Very spacious and comfortable. For a brand new building. It does have a little minor growing pains here and there. Overtime. These should be our note and it would be one of the best place to stay at in Georgetown…

No Back Up Power Generator - Water Issur
Hotel does not count with a back up generator, and there was a power failure. After the power came back, the water was disgusting.

In countries like our and even o more development countries when there is a power shortage different situation beyond our control can take place but, what it is important is that how soon we can take care of that, and we did it in 5 minutes.
