New Orleans German-American Cultural Center Hotels

"This hotel is exactly what you pay for, it’s not the fanciest, it’s not the most expensive, but the bed looked clean and organized. I did kill 2 cockroaches in my bathroom, but it’s the south and that’s not totally uncommon (I live in Florida). There was some discoloration near the shower area on the wall, and I’m guessing it was mold. The door seals were non existent, and there’s some road noise. But it’s a place to crash which is how we used it. For the positives, staff was friendly, tv was easy to use with channels. Bed was clean and ac worked. Location is close to the highway where you can hear it. Area around hotel is kinda sketchy but I felt safe and secure the hotel property."

"When I first walked in the clerk up front was screaming and being rude to other people she wasn’t friendly. The room smelled like weed the sheets were gross the best thing there was actually not being there "

"The place was more than I expected for my 40th birthday, especially celebrating alone. The only thing I couldn’t do was get in the pool, which I really wanted to do since it’s something I do every year for my birthday. Other than that, I loved the place. My only advice would be to keep children close, as the room balconies do not have protection to prevent someone from falling."
