「Scarborough Hill Country Inn is a a gem! We were pleased to be offered a room upgrade when we arrived as we had initially booked a small double room and a larger room was available. We were very happy with the room offered - bright, airy, thoughtfully furnished and extremely clean. An extensive range of teas, coffee and hot chocolate were provided in the room along with complementary water. The restaurant was busy, however staff were attentive, nothing was too much trouble. 5 stars for the food...

「The Hotel looked excellent - unfortunately we weren't able to stay there - why? Because the hotel was closed for refurbishment - and EXPEDIA failed to notify us prior to travelling - and also EXPEDIA refused to share our phone number with the hotel so they were unable to inform us in advance of our arrival - fortunately the hotel staff were able to assist us in gettinga ccomodation nearby. 「The room was clean,the stairs were difficult for us but we are in our 80s,the pub is located in a quiet area with easy parking ,both nights we were able to park close by.The breakfasts were well presented with generous helpings.」

「Lovely staff, great food, no complaints at all. Suggestion, maybe change the radio channel in the breakfast room, it’s a bit drab. Put some music on in the bar, such a nice bar but very quiet without some background music. Maybe a few barstools too to break up the seating. Overall really enjoyed my few nights away!」

I didn't like the continental offering, There was however a fridge in the room. We took our dog with us for which we paid 35 pounds there was nothing provided for the dog」

「This was our second visit to the Dell. It’s in a perfect, quiet location, just a short walk from the shops and beautiful beach. The chalet was very clean and well equipped; the kitchen had every utensil we could need! The only thing that would improve our stay a little is the option of a slightly earlier check in, as the day is nearly over by 4 p.m., and slightly later checkout than 10 a.m. 」

「The breakfasts were good, although they weren't included, but it was hard to get an evening meal. The room I stayed in was near the road and boiler/ air conditioning so it was very noisy so I slept very badly. The fire alarm went off early in the morning and we didn't get any information from the staff so didn't know if it was safe to return to our rooms. Although geographically it worked well I wouldn't stay there again.」
