Only found out, from another guest, how to get back in the front door using the key fob. "The Europa was easy to find and we parked right outside it, we were given a warm welcome and all the required information about keys / breakfast etc, our room was lovely and spacious, it was scrupulously clean as was the bathroom and had everything you could want. The bed was comfortable and we both had a good nights sleep, plenty of hot water in the shower and the breakfast was delicious. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and if back in Whitby I will certainly like to return."

"Very welcoming- a lovely pleasant room. The bed was comfortable. We brought our own double sheet as we knew there would be a winter duvet in a heat wave!! The view from the window over the garden and Bagdale was good. We could have done with more loo roll and there was no coffee machine, but we would definitely stay there again."

"I stayed here in the autumn of 2023, and found it met my needs. Clean modern rooms, no scuff marks or wear to be seen. One slight criticism, would be that I couldn't get the bath water a bit hotter. Overall I would recommend this hotel. One mile from the town centre, makes this walkable to Whitby's pubs restaurants and other amenities."
