“I had an excellent short stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the service stood out—efficient, attentive, and genuinely focused on making guests feel welcome. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and polite, creating a comfortable atmosphere that made the experience even better. The room was spotless, the check‑in smooth, and the overall environment calm and inviting. I’d happily return for another stay.”

“Almost everything about this stay was excellent. I would say that some of the interior is in need of maintenance (sagging floors) and one bathroom was tight spacing. The parking was not available but we were able to get parking nearby.”

“The hotel’s proximity to the train station and the availability of a microwave oven are positive aspects. However, the lighting in the room is inadequate, especially near the door. Furthermore, the dark-colored carpet makes the room appear even dimmer. The room’s price is quite high, likely due to the Cheltenham Festival.”

“The room was adequate for our overnight stay. The shower was really good and all the basic usual were there. The welcome from Nadine was excellent as well as the rest of the staff. We really enjoyed the breakfast, thank you Chef. Overall the Linden Tree is a good, basic stopover, especially if staying overnight after watching the Cherry and Whites.”

“The 5-night stay was overall comfortable, although there was an issue with controlling the temperature of the hot water shower. It would occasionally become scalding during showers. It would also be wonderful if breakfast could include some fruit. Other than these minor points, it was a delightful stay. When we arrived in the late afternoon, the reception gentleman kindly helped my daughter and me carry our luggage to the room on the 2nd floor.”

“This hotel was amazing beautiful clean rooms spacious, clean comfortable beds slept like a log. The food we had evening meal and breakfast and was stunning the food tasted delicious and would highly recommend this hotel.”
