Very well appointed hotel. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking at the valley and listening to the cow bells! Village is small and worth a walk around to see the fascinating old buildings. Adjacent co-op also handy! Being able to park right outside for no extra charge was a treat and the included breakfast had a wide selection and was very good quality.

Okay but short of our expectations.

An ideal location for the nearby mountain passes. Room was fine but overlooked by nearby houses. A fridge and a ‘do not disturb’ sign would have been useful. One member of staff could also do with a customer service course

Super personeel. Spreken Engels. 1 persoonskamer is ook niet groter dan dat maar alles er op en er aan. Zoals vele eetgelegenheden ook hier prijzen te hoog. Goeie Hamburger met friet en een een bier €39.

Sehr empfehlenswert!

Mir gefallen besonders der herzliche Umgang, die entspannte Athmosphäre und die wohlig eingerichteten Zimmer. Zudem ist das Essen einfach top! Grosses Plus: sollte wider Erwarten mal etwas nicht passen, wird sofort und unkompliziert eine grosszügige Lösung angeboten.

Herzliche Atmosphäre, zum rundum Wohlfühlen!

Man fühlt sich sofort wohl, sehr schönes Einzelzimmer gehabt. Persönlich hätte ich einen Wasserkocher anstelle der Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer bevorzugt - das ist aber Geschmacksache :-) Frühstück und Nachtessen top!

Familiäre Atmosphäre, tolles Frühstück

Wir waren auf dem Weg über den Furkapass nach Italien und haben im Hotel Landhaus eine erholsame Nacht verbracht. Das Personal war ab der ersten Sekunde freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Zimmer sauber und modern. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen, die gesamte Auswahl war qualitativ auf einem super Niveau. Wir kommen also gerne wieder!

Ich war auf der Durchreise im Wallis und war 1 Nacht im Hotel Landhaus. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Das Hotel hat mir einen sehr sympathischen Eindruck gemacht. Hat alles gepasst und würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Dass man einfach geduzt wird, finde ich gewöhnungsbedürftig. Keine Karten zum raushängen mit „bitte nicht stören“. Machte einen Mittagsschlaf, die Frau welche das Zimmer machen wollte, trat ohne zu klopfen ein…!

Excellent choice in the Swiss Valais

Superb small hotel, great location and views.

Arrived to a superb welcome, and great host. A very modern hotel, with everything catered for. Immaculately clean, and great comfortable rooms, with lovely balcony's allowing great views over the Swiss mountains. We were only staying one night due to being on a driving tour through Europe, but would definitely, arrange to stay again when we are in to area again, mind we would make sure we did just to use this hotel again really! The Restaurant service was great, (the waiters recommendation for the starter was delicious, along with my wiener schnitzel) along with the food for dinner and breakfast, which had a great selection and the scrambled egg ordered was good too. All of the staff were superb, all of them speaking perfect English, embarrassingly we speak very little German.

Great location, great staff

The hotel is nice and located in a beautiful location. What really stands out, however, is the staff. This is a family-run operation and Simon and his sister, Shaneen (sp?) are exceptional hosts. They went out of their way to make sure that we had a great stay. Additionally, our server in the restaurant, Robert (unless my memory is failing me), was both excellent at his job and a very witty, fun guy. This is definitely a place I would return to.
