"Shortage of staff"

"Really enjoyed this hotel. The room was big, clean, and came with a massage chair plus a great mountain view. Breakfast was mainly Chinese themed with limited options but totally fine. It’s not right in town, but getting a Didi (Uber equivalent) anywhere in Yangshuo is quick and easy. The place has lots of fun extras like kids’ play area, small animal corner, as well cat fishes and koi fishes, you can feed, and a rooftop pool that is specifically for photos. They offer a one-time complimentary photoshoot with costumes if you want, the photographer, Xiaowei, was amazing, it rained during our shoot and he offered to shoot again for free once the weather was better. There is a ground floor swimming pool which is more for kids to paddle bamboo raft than actual swimming, so just manage expectations. Also there are a lot of mosquitos to bring mosquito repellent. What truly makes the stay special is the staff. They’re warm, proactive, super helpful with planning and translations, and always checking in to make sure you’re sorted. Interacted a lot with Miss He and Miss Lin at the front desk and they were superstars but all the hotel staff we interacted with were superstars. Honestly, they’re the reason it feels like a 10/10 stay."

"The view from the hotel room was amazing. We had many baths with our toddler and baby in the bathtub facing the amazing view and it was simply a relaxing experience. The hotel staff was also accommodative as they allowed us to bring the breakfast up to our room as it could be difficult to handle a toddler and a baby at the restaurant. As it was quite a last minute trip with a big family including wheel-chair bound grandparents, the hotel staff was so kind to help with recommending an itinerary and connecting us with local car services, coordinating for us in the process. My 2.5 girl also really enjoyed a lot playing with the big sisters at the hotel. Overall a very friendly and lovely experience ."

"The location is absolutely perfect. You are right on the Li River, and it's an easy walk to both the wharf and the bustling West Street, yet the hotel itself is quiet and peaceful. The facilities were clean and modern, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. (It would be absolutely perfect if they added a coffee machine to the breakfast area, but this was a minor thing in an otherwise wonderful stay.)"

"The hotel was great. The staff are so unbelievably helpful and lovely. Whoever the owner is should do all they can to keep the staff they have, they are nothing short of fantastic. Breakfast was good and we ate dinner once too and we were really happy. The location is great, not too far from town but far enough to be peaceful and quiet. We also appreciated the free shuttle in the evening to town. We walked back twice but it was also easy to get a Didi taxi. Highly recommend this place."
