「This was my 5th time in New York. Having stayed in various areas I'd say this area and hotel overall were my favourite. For such a busy time of year it was lovely to escape midtown and stay in a quieter less touristy area (even though I was the tourist). The hotel was lovely, great style, clean, nice staff and very quiet (rare for New York). We couldn't hear any other guests or noise from the outside (because we were in the quieter area).
