“Everything worked except the lighters”

“This was a great place to stay. Clean room, staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was nice, the kitchen was well stocked and helpful to have.”

“Small pool, breakfast was less than blah and never changed, but rooms were big and nice shower. House keeping would take dirty towels, but not restock them. Did not restock toilet paper or tissues. No pool towels available, they gave you wash clothes in place of them. ”

“Breakfast was the typical waffle maker, minimal fruit, breads, fake eggs as we as some hard boiled eggs, tasteless sausage and hash browns. Parking was as expected.”

“Place is great only complaint is Expedia tells you it is a continental breakfast included and that is not true which was disappointing considering we were flying out in the morning so we wanted to eat breakfast beforehand but the restaurant cost was a little pricey. ”

“Best stay in South Haven. Comfortable beds, cozy rooms, friendly staff, happy hour where you meet the fellow guests and a delicious breakfast. Todd is a property favorite. We look forward to our next stay at Hotel Nichols. ”

“Waiting the fire alarm and flood for nearly one hour and very hard to get asleep again.”

“We spent two nights in the off season - very clean room, beds, and bath. Super convenient location, pulled right up to our door. Quiet at night. We didn’t get to use the outside area, nor was the “breakfast nook” open during our stay - (again, off season), but those amenities looked nice too. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.”

“Great Property, but Service Needs a Personal Touch I had mixed feelings about my recent stay. On the positive side, the rooms were spotless and the property itself is in excellent condition. However, the service didn’t quite live up to the surroundings. I believe great hospitality is all about the little things, and a few details were missed during my visit: A Slow Welcome: After a long flight delay, I arrived around 8:00 PM. Unfortunately, the reception desk was empty. I waited about 10 minutes……

“Everything about this house was perfect! Breakfast was delicious! Assorted breads, fresh fruit, yogurt , and an amazing egg and hash brown bake. We sat in a beautiful kitchen, windows all around with the fireplace going while we ate. Our room was cozy, clean and comfortable! The shower was excellent with high end shampoo and soap. Highly recommend staying here, we will be back! Thank you Jane! ”
