“Breakfast could’ve been a little better.”

“Staff at counter were very nice.”

“This was the worst best western I’ve ever stayed at. The beds were uncomfortable and the air conditioning unit made so much noise it was difficult to sleep. The pool was heated to an uncomfortably warm temperature and the pool room was excessively humid. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and helped in resolving an issue that was not theirs to resolve, so I appreciate the staff for sure. This property is in dire need of upgrades, or to call it what it is and adjust the price……

“Pros: Enjoyed a cocktail at the reception desk, a really nice experience after a long drive. Nice location, easy walking distance to town. Good Mexican food at Felix’s. Mattress, towels, linens, soap, shampoo etc all high-quality. Great light but satisfying breakfast: yogurt parfait, good coffee. Cons: Receptionist was efficient though not terribly friendly. Air conditioner was noisy enough that it affected our sleep. It’s something I mentioned to the owners via a text that they never responded……

“This boutique motel is the perfect place to plan your visit to Palisade around. The hosts are great. The rooms are fresh and spotless. The backside of the property gives you great views and added space to sit out and enjoy a coffee in the morning or an end of day beverage. There’s nothing I would change. This was my second stay here and it will not be my last.”

“From the start we had some hiccups. There is no front desk, no one working on site. Check in was through text which wasn’t sent when called the number the bar offered us it was an AI person which roughly took us 30 mins standing in the sun outside the locked front door. Once in the room was cute, nice with a wet bar too. The bathroom door slammed shut which left it smelling musty and poopy inside. We went to dinner enjoyed a concert and walked back to the end of our night. Once ready for bed……

“Good location but hotel wasn’t as clean as it had been in a previous stay. Dinner was expensive and staff seemed interested in other things.”

“The inside and rooms coukd use a face-lift. For what we paid for the room, I thought it would be more modern but it was outdated. Staff were amazing. We were greeted when we came in and left. Friendly, kind and caring.”

“I didn't have high expectations for this place after reading the reviews however I was pleasantly surprised. It is an old hotel but our room was recently painted with new carpet. They're clearly working on a budget but they really are trying and making a difference. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating both during our late night check in and the next morning.”
