We had an amazing time! The house is quiet and private. Beautiful views and sunsets. We traveled as a family of 4, 2 boys (10,14) they loved jumping in the ocean every day. We made the quick drive across the highway to surfers beach each day which was beautiful and private, usually the only ones there. The home had everything we needed to make meals. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the home and would definitely book again.

Awesome Place

We stayed here for five nights, the view was amazing, great snorkeling by the steps. Had a question connecting to WIFI, messaged the staff and was able to get it resolve within minutes. The bed was comfy and clean. Kitchen is equipped with enough pots and plates and utensil. Wish there were more shower towels for 5 nights but the two of us did fine, if there were 4 people then maybe you will have to ask for more. Some tiny flies in the house but I think that's just part of being on a island. We tried to use the laundry but there were no detergent. Overall we enjoyed our stay there and can't wait to be back!

Stunning View Near Gregory Town!

My husband and I visited this home for our third stay in Eleuthera and it was our best experience yet! Home was a perfect fit for us with comfortable mattresses, stocked kitchen to cook, nice shower with privacy on the porch all day long! We enjoyed snorkeling off the house and plenty of outings of places to see in the North and mid part of the country. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect quiet getaway

The house was extremely clean and comfortable with beautiful views and a great snorkeling spot. We would have been happy not leaving the house the entire time! Our favorite excursions were a beautiful walk to surfers beach, a quick drive to the Cliffs, the glass window bridge, Sapphire Hole, and a festival in Hatchet Bay where locals were warm and welcoming. We are already planning when we can return. Thank you!

Much needed rest

Our stay could not have been any better. The house was clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and the AC kept the bedrooms cool at night. The pictures in the listing just don’t do justice to the view from the porch. An SUV is nice to have for the driveway but we never needed 4 wheel drive. Our family of four had plenty of room. Can’t wait to stay here again soon!

House with a view

The views and breeze were wonderful. The bed and linens very comfortable. The information packet provided made it easy to get around. 4WD for the drive and other roads is a must. We felt home away from home with the pups and would love to try to get them back with us. The house could use a few updates but was a very comfortable house. It was also in a great central location to go north or south. We would definitely stay again at Palm Bluff!

Slice of Heaven

The place is very much as pictured. Very clean and amazing views. The indoor shower head was a little tricky to ensure water didn’t get on the bathroom floor which we didn’t want to damage. The kitchen was well stocked to cook or not. Also, the house had items to go to the beach including snorkel equipment, cooler and chairs.

The place was amazing. The views are spectacular. Star-gazing and photography… world class. We had easy access to the water. Snorkeling was only a quick flat away. All the cooking and basic needs were there for us. Great overall trip

Paradise Found at Palm Bluff

The property was clean and well stocked with all supplies listed in the description. The view was mesmerizing and mafe us feel relaxed and content. The last part of the road to the house is bumpy, but we knew that ahead of time, and rented a vehicle with high clearance. Property is perfect for 2 people.

Beautiful view

The house was as described and the view was stunning. The house is secluded which was very nice and quiet. The only comment is that this house is not for anyone that is any type of mobility issues as it is a climb uphill and several steps. Highly recommend!

The property is beautiful, quite and secluded. The oceans views get you to stay here but let me tell you, the views of the stars will get you to return.No issues with the rental other than some minor wear and tear issues.You definitely need an SUV as the owner suggests.

Charming cottage on the cliff!

Beautiful cottage, perched on the cliff just outside of Gregorytown- amazing views, and sunset and steps down to the beautiful blue Caribbean waters, for swimming and jumping (my teens did a lot of it)! Immaculately, clean, easy, check in process, wonderful follow up from Caretaker. We had zero complaints, but I am sure if we had a single one it would’ve been quickly remedied. We will most certainly be back to this secluded oasis on Eleuthera!

Loved the view! Pretty spectacular and very private. We enjoyed it! Would have liked more shower towels .. sounds like a small detail but 4ppl staying in this home and 4 small shower towels. Minor detail but why not have more? Bring your own clothes washing detergent, sugar, etc. Thanks for letting us stay, we enjoyed our time. Cheers

This property checked all the boxes for us: private, quiet, views, good amenities, unique location, and competitively priced. One of the most unique features that may or may not appeal to guests is the access to the water. Definitely not for small children. But we thoroughly enjoyed plunging into the sea from the diving platform. Sitting on the deck feels like to you on the bridge of a ocean liner with expansive west views.

What we really missed was a (foldable?) dining table on the patio so the gorgeous sunset while eating diner outside.The caretaker is exceptional! Here comes the "but": the drive to the house is more than rocky! Even a 4W-drive Jeep had a HARD time managing. This really needs to be addressed.

Secluded and beautiful paradise!

I stayed with my three children at Palm Bluff. It was magical. We didn’t need to go anywhere else but we did explore the island. The home is beautifully decorated in Serena and Lilly style and the beds are like heaven. The rain shower outside was amazing, even when taking care to reserve the water. I could escape here every year. We didn’t find great snorkeling, but we did experience amazing beach and sand. We loved jumping off the cliffs morning and night from the home’s steps down to the water. Turtles right off the shore. Thank you Ellett and Sarah for sharing your beautiful home. We tried to take good care of it. I’d like to come back!

The house was incredibly clean and all amenities worked perfectly. The morning views were inspiring and the sunsets from the porch above the cliff were breathtaking. Swimming in the blue waters of the Caribbean was out of a magazine including a dramatic cliffside entrance. The water itself was rich with fish of all kinds, and there is a gorgeous reef close by that is perfect for snorkelling. We also saw a sea turtle and a ray from the porch! We brought a SUP which gave us access to the many bays and caves that dot the shoreline here. Surfers beach is about a 10minute walk away. We rented boards and took surf lessons from Tom at Surfers Haven. It was very fun and pretty low-key. When not in the water, Gregory Town, Hatchet Bay and Governor's Harbour all had great food! The rental team was super easy to communicate with and very helpful in providing information. We tried several of the restaurants they recommended it they were amazing. The house really is stunning, well decorated and super clean. Honestly I think this is the best Airbnb I have stayed in.

Perfect retreat

Dream view, the AC got the house cold at night, comfy beds, kitchen was equipped for cooking, strong Wi-Fi, books and games for your choosing. There were not any beach chairs or cooler upon our arrival. But there were floats! We bought some sterno cans for bug repellant and left two at the house. We would light them and sit them beside us outside and the bugs wouldn’t bother us. That’s our number 1 tip! Our other tip is if you have specific dietary needs to bring the food you need. It’s very hard to find on the island. Spanish Wells had a really nice grocery store:Download the house instructions BEFORE YOU ARRIVE! The instructions to where the key is are in them and we were stuck for quite a while - about 2 hours with no cell service and unable to reach anyone and no way in. The information was not in the app, I do believe it was just a glitch. But just to be safe download it before you land in the Bahamas. :)

Stunning views and shark swim experiences.

I can't say enough about the absolutely stunning 180 degree of the water all the way to the horizon. I could stand at the porch rail for hours just stare out at the clear blue water. The water was nearly always calm and we often saw fish and turtles right from the porch. The whole place was very clean and everything was in very good condition. For island based internet, this was more than fast enough for the whole family to surf the web in the evening or even stream a netflix movie after the sun went down. The pictures shown online are very accurate we really enjoyed our stay. Let's take a moment to talk about the steps that lead down to the water. They are fairly steep and the jump from the last platform into the water was a lot of fun. But be aware, when we were there, there was a significant amount of shark activity. When we first got there, my wife took a video of my daughter and I jumping into the water. See the video on tiktok under user account nikkiped5. ( sorry, VRBO doesn't allow direct links in comments. ) You can see in the video she nearly jumped on the shark! We were not aware of the shark until later when we were reviewing the video. Standing on the top of the stairs you can see turtles, sting rays and one of the two sharks cruise by at least once in 10-15 minutes. The water was awesome and very frequently as calm as a swimming pool, and if it wasn't for the sharks, there was great snorkeling as well. If you're adventurous and don't mind swimming with wild sharks, this is awesome. Some people spend a lot of money to swim with sharks, and here they are included! For us, we stayed out of the water after our SECOND shark encounter, after foolishly thinking that the jump was just a one in a million chance thing. Nope, these sharks live there and cruise the cliff all day. Enjoy!

Within 30 minutes of almost everything you could want (restaurants, grocery, airport, etc). House is very well appointed in every room and all furniture is SUPER comfortable. Outdoor space is great with lots of lounge areas and convenient outdoor shower. Caretaker Tenielle is super responsive and helpful. Bluetooth stereo for easy music connection/ambiance. Water filter for those who don't want to bury the planet in millions more plastic bottles. Relaxing and comfortable stay overall; couldn't ask for much more, TBH.
