「Good things first. The staff are lovely. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The proximity to a nice family beach is a 2 min walk away. The bad. Over priced. Both airconditioners didn't work. Bad smells from blocked drains and there is a building site right next door. Jack hammers and noisy 3 out of 7 days. Cant stay in room. Also taxi ride to main tourist strip.」

「The hotel is not 4-star condition. Continental breakfast was served at a hotel 2 blocks away. Reception did not know it was included. Staff is pleasant and hospitable. Pool is nice and roof top offers comfortable seating arrangement. AC struggled at times and the balcony light did not turn off. It's an okay hotel. For the price, there are plenty of options all over Playa del Carmen.」
