“Great choice in Playa del Carmen. The location is excellent. You are close to 5th Ave, but away from the super touristy part in the center. Mamitas beach is a five minute walk and the hotel will lend you beach chairs and umbrellas. The staff is very friendly, rooms are spacious and clean. There is daily cleaning and lots of towels. My kids loved the towel Art. No problems with hot water. The pool is wonderful and was never busy. There is a hot tub. I would recommend a garden view room as it is……

“Highly recommended if you have a car. Excellent value. Clean room. Breakfast above average for Yucatan - included protein (cheese, ham, boiled egg). Free parking. Quiet area. 8-10 min walk to Playa 72 and Playa 88 which are great free public beaches. Would definitely stay here again. Downsides: no restaurants close by, internet did not work”

“Where to begin! Beautiful, relaxing experience. Claudia & Juan were so welcoming, helpful, and kind. Assisted with great humour and spirit for everything I needed. I already miss Chef Miguel's breakfasts. Such a wonderful way to start each day; especially when it can be hard to eat later in the day, when it's hot. The room was lovely. My only complaint is outside the hotel's control- nearby business has very loud music and thumping bass until late. The ambience is worth a bit of missed sleep……

“The room we had was very basic. A bed, a desk, two night stands, tv, luggage stand, armour with a safe. The bath room was clean with a couple towels and basic toiletries. The a/c worked well and the bed was comfortable. The staff was helpful. They only provide housekeeping every other day. ”

“You get what you pay for. The room itself was clean but it definitely needs some updates to remove the stains in tiles of the bathroom grout and the shower faucets do not shine at all. Linens could also get an upgrade b/c you can tell they have been washed too. many times now. The staff were amazing though especially the gentleman who worked on our arrival. We found our window didn’t lock and the door lock wasn't working either that he made some changes and gave us a new room to feel secure.……

The studio was very clean, we were very happy to have our own coffee machine and a toaster in the studio and we also loved the decoration. Everything was within walking distance of the condo and we visited some nice restaurants.”

“The first thing you will notice is the awful smell, the beach has so much seaweed it smells of fish. The beach is small and filled with seaweed, so not pleasant at all. It's a busy beach, with lots of local people. Thankfully there is a decent amount of seating on the resort side of the rope. The food was good, I appreciate the decent selection of veg/vegan options, but options are limited, there is only one buffer and one restaurant. “Habitaciones amplias y muy limpias, el área del roof es lo que más me gusta del hotel sin embargo ya llevan un par de años que no funciona su jacuzzi y tampoco tenían música en el área de alberca en esta ocasión, tampoco tuvimos agua caliente por 3 días hablamos y nomás decían que lo estaban revisando hay que poner atención a estos detalles, me hospedó seguido aquí pero ahora hubo varias deficiencias en el servicio, por todo lo demás bien.”
