“Everything was absolutely perfect. The facilities are very new, the decoration is simple, the bed sheets are clean, and the mattress is soft. All the staff at the front desk are extremely nice, especially Exequiel. When I couldn't sleep, I went to the front desk several times to ask, and he was very enthusiastic to tell me how to choose a tour group and also told me what precautions I need to take if I go by myself. I think such an employee deserves a higher salary because he really makes……

“This is my second year in a row staying here and I can't say enough good things. We stayed in the Garden Suite Bungalow which was clean, spacious, and wonderful. The pool was always well maintained and they were always cleaning to keep things looking great. Staff was wonderful once again. The housekeeping kept making us these cute towel animals that just felt like such a nice touch. Right off of 5th avenue, everything you need is walking distance. I love it there and can't wait to book with……

“Where to begin! Beautiful, relaxing experience. Claudia & Juan were so welcoming, helpful, and kind. Assisted with great humour and spirit for everything I needed. I already miss Chef Miguel's breakfasts. Such a wonderful way to start each day; especially when it can be hard to eat later in the day, when it's hot. The room was lovely. My only complaint is outside the hotel's control- nearby business has very loud music and thumping bass until late. The ambience is worth a bit of missed sleep……

“Good things first. The staff are lovely. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The proximity to a nice family beach is a 2 min walk away. The bad. Over priced. Both airconditioners didn't work. Bad smells from blocked drains and there is a building site right next door. Jack hammers and noisy 3 out of 7 days. Cant stay in room. Also taxi ride to main tourist strip.”

“The experience was amazing and the staff were very helpful. The only problem was we booked the king size bed suite and when we got there we were given the double bed suite instead . We paid for the king size bed room but we got a cheaper room instead so we lost money . Also the small room didn’t have a microwave and that’s one of the main reasons we got the king room . But after 2 days the staff were able to get a microwave in the smaller room . Overall great place to stay except for that one……

“The hotel is not 4-star condition. Continental breakfast was served at a hotel 2 blocks away. Reception did not know it was included. Staff is pleasant and hospitable. Pool is nice and roof top offers comfortable seating arrangement. AC struggled at times and the balcony light did not turn off. It's an okay hotel. For the price, there are plenty of options all over Playa del Carmen.”
