PREMIUM Condo! GULF FRONT 2 Bedroom - Island Winds East

This stunning 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom premium condo awaits vacation memories on the 7th floor of Island Winds East in Gulf Shores. The completely renovated condo (IWE-702) offers guests character inside and out with gorgeous, natural-looking ceramic wood tile flooring throughout and wood beam accents on the ceilings that give it a unique design and inviting atmosphere.

Features include:

· Living area with 55-inch Smart TV with Dish Network and HDMI DVD player that can be enjoyed on the high-end Queen sofa sleeper and recliner.

· Fully equipped kitchen updated with Quartz countertops with classy tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances and a wide breakfast bar that seats two.

· Cozy dining table for four (two chairs and a cushioned bench) overlooking the Gulf through floor-to-ceiling windows.

· Master bedroom with a King-size bed and rustic wooden headboard and a 39-inch flatscreen TV with Dish Network.
Additional storage space in closet with custom woodwork.

· Master bathroom with a rustic decor - weathered wood cabinetry, dark Quartz countertop and circular inset mirror.
Walk-in shower with glass doors, custom tilework and a large shower head is sure to please.

· Guest bedroom with two full size beds, and a 32-inch flatscreen TV with HDMI DVD player.

· Second bathroom has coastal charm with a dark Quartz countertop and ceramic tile, which mimics weathered white wood planks, in the bathtub and shower combination with glass doors. Sand dollar artwork ties it all together.

· Stacked washer and dryer conveniently tucked in hallway closet.

· Floor-to-ceiling windows and a sliding glass door open up from the living area to the Gulf-front balcony with three tall Adirondack chairs and three stools, ready for morning coffee with the sunrise or refreshing cocktails at sunset.

Island Wind East is in the heart of Gulf Shores' beach scene so everything is within walking distance. From restaurants to shops, everything is at your fingertips. The building features an outdoor pool and grilling area.

Please Note: Two parking passes are permitted most of the year; however, onsite parking is limited to one parking pass per unit, regardless of size, during Spring Break, mid May through mid August, Labor Day, and Shrimp Festival in early October. Additional parking available offsite.

Island Winds East is located two blocks west of State Hwy. 59.

Baseball/Beach week

We were in gulf shores for baseball, but mixed in a vacation too. My condo was the more updated one in the building compared to the other baseball families who also rented in this same building. The condo was clean and having an ice machine in the building was really great. The beach was an easy walk & our condo had a perfect view. The reason for the 4 star rating was the size of the condo was much smaller than we expected. The pictures online made it seem like there was more space. The bathrooms are so small, there’s no place for towels other than the side of the vanity sink. There is very little closet space and storage, so our suitcases were in the floor and we were stepping over them all week. The sheets were also like paper, and those are provided by Brett Robison, so guessing the whole building has the same issue. The condos do cost a bit less than others that have more space, so if price a concern, this condo isn’t a bad choice if you need to choose one in this building.

Good vacation

We had a great vacation and enjoyed this condo. The balcony and beach access were great amenities. The condo showed some wear, but it was clean and management quickly fixed an off track shower door.

Great condo

The place was just as I expected. The view was awesome and we saw dolphins as we sat on the balcony with our morning coffee. It was clean and quiet and we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Getaway

My family and I was very pleased with this property. It was exactly as described and as the pictures show. We had plenty of extra pillows. There was beach chairs and umbrellas in the closet for use which was great because we had to leave ours behind due to lack of extra car space. Overall this was probably the best condo we have ever stayed in from location, cleanliness, the supply of furnishings, view, you name it. We had a group of 7 that included me, my husband, sister, parents and my 5 & 12 year old. It was perfect for our little getaway.

Check on Planned Activities

Check on planned construction projects scheduled during your stay. We got pushed out of our first choice by balcony refurbishing. We had to hustle for replacement condo which worked out fine. They did have roof repair going on.

Beautifully, updated condo but......

This Islands Winds East unit was very comfey and homey. The proximity to the beach is awesome. The only issue we had was the awful cat urine smell in the master bedroom. I spoke with someone in the office about it and they said they have worked tirelessly to get to the bottom of it. Personally, I don't feel it's fair to rent a unit with such an issue. I have pets and I understand how odors can become such a thing. I ended up buying a essential oil diffuser which made sleeping in there more tolerable but towards the end of the week I ended up going to the other bedroom that my sister was using. The unit itself is very well appointed.

Location, Location, Location!

This was, by far, the absolute nicest condo we have ever stayed in! It was absolutely beautiful!! The location was the absolute best!! We walked to a different restaurant every evening, and to several shops as well. We will definitely save this to our favorites list!

Perfect!

My family usually vacations in Destin, but I decided on Gulf Shores for my college graduation vacation present! I was so pleasantly surprised that this condo and location exceeded my expectations! It is one of the cleanest condos I’ve ever stayed in, if not the cleanest. It’s decorated so cute and cozy. Just like mentioned in other reviews, the owners go above and beyond to include things that make your vacation easier, like extra coffee, cleaning supplies, toiletries, etc. We fit myself, my boyfriend, and my dad comfortably in this condo. The beds are so comfy, and the balcony overlooking the beach is a HUGE plus. The walk to the beach takes mere minutes and the location to town/places to eat/ things to do is perfect. There is plenty of parking, there’s a pool, grills available, new appliances in the condo.. I could go on and on. If I make it back to Gulf Shores, this is exactly where I plan to stay again.

Great Condo, Great Location

When we arrived at this property the VRBO reviews and pictures were right on the money. We instantly felt right at home. The location couldn't be any better if you want to be close to the main drag. The white sand beach was awesome and not overly crowded. My wife and 2 daughters (2 and 4 years old) had a blast. The full size bunk beds in the second bedroom were great for the kids even though they both shared the bottom bed. The ladder can be removed if you have little ones. All the little things the owners took the time to leave for the renters were over the top. From the k-cups to the extra odds and ends you may possibly forget. Top notch is all I can say! Even though we were there for the beach it was nice to know we had a great place to rest our heads at night. Thanks for taking care of your customers we will definitely be back, and we will recommend this unit to everyone!

Amazing condo! The owners have literally given you everything you need to have an amazing stay! The condo is decorated so cute and the location is great! We enjoyed watching the dolphins play each morning from the balcony. Pack your bags and go!
