"Great view. excellent service. Very courteous staff. However this is an older property under renovation. I did not know about renovations until at the property. Many features did not work. No swimming pool (outdoor) despite being advertised on Expedia and all sites. Room safe did not work and was not bolted Room heating did not work since there was leakage from balcony door There was no lobby to walk, mingle since everything was under construction "

"Fortune Heevan is a very comfortable and nice property in Srinagar. The rooms are clean, well designed and spacious giving a view of the well maintained gardens. "What I did not like was the fact that at 20K a night for a Superior room you got a pigeon hole. However staff attitude was excellent they moved us to a better room, but in a budget hotel at no discounts, which was again dissapointing. Hotels need to be more upfront. So see and book"

"It was an incredible experience! Kashmiri people are lovely, their hospitality is marvellous. I wish there was less trash everywhere in the valley - plastic bottles and plastic bags in particular. Can't really blame Kashmiris for it but some obnoxious Indian tourists from the rest of the country. Hope the trash situation improves, it is a real eye-sore and a bummer."

"I stayed in the hotel for three nights. I got a room on 3rd floor which had an excellent view of snow covered hill which was liked by my family. Room, Bathroom were spacious. The breakfast was good with options like Poha, Upma, pasta, etc. The only issue I had was that we had to wait for ten minutes to get hot water every time. Overall I recommend the hotel for a quiet stay near Pahalgam. "

"Firstly Rah Villas is not in Sonamarg but about 10 KMS before the town on the left bank of the Indus river so we had to come back all the way looking for this hotel in the middle of nowhere. Not that I mind middle of nowhere hotels, found this to be completely characterless and overpriced. The pretty photographs are a bit deceptive, and this hotel looks to be tailor made for online travel portal bookings from where they seem to get most of the business.
