「Overall, the hotel's environment and facilities and staff are good, but two things make me uneasy. 「Dark bathroom with tiny mirror over sink. Bathtub had a shower rod/curtain with a hanging down/broken rod. Room had no coffee filters and when obtained from house keeping they were the wrong size. Was not able to completely close double hung windows, nor lock them. I requested a king room and the bed was a king. But also in the room were a set of bunk beds,」

「I had not stayed at the Comfort Inn in Gunnison before. The facility was convenient and well-priced compared to the alternatives. I had stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Gunnison many times, but it was not available this time. The Comfort Inn Express was very adequate for my needs and less than half the cost of the Holiday Inn. The breakfast was just as good and well maintained. Parking lot was well lite and safe. Restaurants and Walmart very close by.」

「When we asked to check in at 1:15 PM, they said check-in was at 3. Do not come early. When I came back to check in after 3, she said I already was there to check in. Reminded her I still need to check in. Room smelled of smoke and someone on the outside was fixing his bike until 3 AM. After checking out, no receipt given. Breakfast was amazing as it had a lot of options.」

「Rooms very nice. Our room had a bathtub that was deep and had no grab bars. I could not get in or out of tub to take a shower. I will request room with shower next time」

「Well my basic experience anymore with motels is the owners are slumlords. They do the minimum to keep the places up. Makes you worry about basic cleanliness of the room..」
