“Great as always”

“Supposed to be a 4 star hotel but a number of issues imo. Only one lift for a large hotel seems poor. You need to drop off your bags from the car at the entrance as otherwise there are steps to negotiate from the car park. The bar restaurant is frankly very poor in terms of noise and quality of food which arrived so quickly that it was obviously not freshly cooked and was pretty tasteless. There are numerous reviews highlighting this but nothing appears to have been done about it. The main……

“It was in a decent location and was clean. However it did smell of something and the smell was difficult to shake… even with the windows and doors left open. There were lots of little things missing: no dish towels to dry dishes, no effective plug in sink to do dishes, no bread knife to cut bread, no iron or ironing board, no where to hang washing.
