“The view was spectacular, especially as there was a moorland fire opposite one night which glowed for a few hours. The night sky was also spectacular. I haven;t seen so many stars and planets for decades. It was worth visiting for that alone. Very well organised for dogs especially the deck. Lovely and warm and cosy and heating easy to use. Needs instructions for the cooker though, Drive along the road going up the hill at the back of the village if you like remoteness. You really are……

“A beautifully renovated shepherd’s hut. Very comfortable and brilliantly insulated, so was really cosy during a chilly March weekend. The location is beautiful and within easy reach of the coastal path. Also well located for some beautiful mountain walks (and more). We had a very warm welcome from Owen. Thoroughly recommend this property!”

“Cosy and comfortable cabin in this holiday village which is near to Coed Y Brenin where we visited daily to bike and walk. Also a short drive to Dolgellau town where there are independent shops, lovely bakeries a d pubs. The outside area was good for lovely views of the surrounding countryside and with a small well kept garden with a conifer hedge to separate it from neighbouring cabins. ”

“A lovely cabin in a absolutely stunning location, with access to many nature reserves and beautiful places in the area around the cabin. The cabin itself is a lovely, small cabin in a great location. No issues with the location or the cabin whatsoever and I would definitely recommend it to others, especially for one-two people. Overall I can not fault my stay here and I would definitely come here again in the future.”

“There are no shops nearby unless you have a car. Very secluded area perfect for a weekend getaway from laptops! The hosts are very responsive.”

“The place itself it's amazing, with stunning surroundings, great play ground for kids , coffee and bar just steps away. the property itself is dated, in need of serious cleaning, but it was cozy and warm. We found a welcome pack with some coffee sachets, sugar and drinking chocolate. Thank you All the essentials to cook breakfast and dinner were there . Not sure if it's normal thing but there was one roll of toilet paper only and no spare bin bags or food waste bags. Bunk beds on the small……
