"Super nice front-desk staff, this is very important as it is always the first impression you have of the hotel. Check-in and out was very easy and seamless. Not sure if the hotel is old or just not very well maintained, but my room smelled very strongly of a musty odor which did not air out or disappear over the course of my stay, and which actually permeated my clothes after only a three night stay and travelled with me for the remainder of my vacation that I concluded in Gozo. The hotel is by the waterfront and Malta is humid, but I'm sure this cannot be the reason, otherwise all hotels in the same area would have the same issue. That being said, the hotel does give you free access to an awesome beach club across the street, and for the price you pay in this area compared to the other hotels nearby, it is an obvious choice. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was fine."

"This property is stunning! The whole villa complex layout was so thoughtfully done, preserving the historical feel of the facade and build but making it super modern on the inside of the rooms and giving it a loft-like feel. I wish I could have stayed more than one night! Irene at the front desk was super nice and helpful, and check-in, check-out, and early morning/late night access was super easy. Comfy bed and lovely bath products. The pool area also looked great, but unfortunately it was raining when I was there so could not use. Super close and convenient to airport and tucked away in a quiet part of the island and street, but also very accessible to main areas, I took an Uber to get into town, and then took the bus back to explore, and this was easy and safe and left me less than a five minute walk away from the property. Highly recommend!"

"Had a really good stay at the Lodge! Really cute hotel at a historical part of Malta. The room was clean and well kept. We had a room with a private external bathroom which no one else could use and it turned out to be absolutely fine. Breakfast was really good. The area is beautiful with a few good restaurants nearby. Access is quite easy with Bolt /Uber. The owner was very helpful to allow us to check out late as the room wasn't booked the next day, which was a massive help after a day at the beach before flying off! Definitely recommend it!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The food was excellent especially the breakfast and dinner buffet. We really appreciated the transportation from the airport and then to the cruise port. The rooms could use a refresher and a heads up on the fireworks would have been appreciated. We would stay again."

"What a delightful, beautiful hotel perfectly located in the heart of Valletta, with incredible restaurants and shops just steps away from the hotel’s entrance. We absolutely adored this property. The lobby, rooms, lounges, restaurants, roof deck and pool area were extremely stylishly decorated and well maintained. Service was impeccable. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and immediately helped. Alexander, Jenna, Ali, Ayer, Lucia, and other members of the Embassy’s incredible team were extremely kind and knowledgeable. I will book this hotel every time we visit Valletta. It was a joy to stay with the Embassy Hotel and very hard to leave after such a great experience."

"It was a bit difficult to find but not really a problem since it took me and my friend 2 extra minutes to find the place and the instructions sent where very clear, location was great, room was beautiful and functional. There where bells ringing in the night, from the Church next door - but i did not Find it bothersome. I felt like this stay was the perfect spot to come back too After a long day of sightseeing and the AC was a lifesaver. I recommend!"

"Overall my partner and I enjoyed our stay, but the first room we stayed had a putrid odor, like sewage. When we notified reception they first sent house keeping to just spray the room, which did not solve the issue, but eventually they changed our rooms. Aside from the smell of our first room, the amenities the hotel provided were top notch, loved the pool, and the location was great, walking distance to the ferry and plenty of restaurants around the hotel."
