Haliburton Highlands Hotel with Pool

"The staff were nice, the breakfast was good, the rooms seemed clean but I woke up on the last day we were there (spent 2 nights) with bug bites all over my face and arms (6 total). I have since had a swollen eye and have been very uncomfortable, they turned to welts and I had to go to the doctors. I’ve never had an experience like this so it is frustrating, I did let the staff know so they can address the situation. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. The reception staff were incredibly kind and even allowed us a late checkout, which made the experience even better. The place has a charming rustic atmosphere and a relaxing ambience. It’s a perfect spot for a quiet weekend getaway with someone you love. Highly recommended."

"staff were amazing, literally all of them. The building is being renovated by complete amateurs though and there were no notices when booking. Water issues, painting everywhere, shotty work even while spreading grout over tile with salt and mud on them just kept spreading the grout. Hotel is dated left right and center so them doing the lobby is for astetics. Pool is outdated, woods moldy, carpets gross. Is what it is though. "
